I remember last year someone criticized you for giving out a lot of low scores.

So, an 8.5 or 9.0 on 10 from you is very meaningful.

I decided to cut the .5s, Ex Machina was an exception. I believe Mad Max: Fury Road deserved that 9 due to how good it was, i don't think there's another action film quite like that one. One thing i'm starting to learn more is that it's difficult to rate films with just numbers, for the most part it works, but the more challenging the film or the more i go to the past and start rating classics, the more difficult it gets trying to limit art into numbers.

I did give some lower scores than most to Cinderella and Furious 7, i don't exactly consider them bad films, but while i think they were entertaining in many places, i don't realy see why so many found them so good. I actualy found Furious 7 weaker than the previous 2 films, and with Cinderella i feel like they added as much as they could around the animated film, but just made that simple story become even more ridiculous, with a world where we apparently have to believe Cinderella's sisters are ugly on the outside, even though they cast beautiful actresses in the roles.

I even rated Avengers 2 and Jurassic World above them, films which will most likely be rated as "bad" by many fanboys in the coming years.
