all i know is Collin is a lucky man

The effects of the environment really are great and I can't wait to see more of it in the trailer.
I'm really liking the look of those robot soldier guys as well. They look awesome. Reminds me of the Cerberus soldiers from Mass Effect a bit.

Yeah it definitely seems as if they're paying homage to Vaders & the stormtroopers intro sequence. I'm also really digging the sleek white armor it's visually captivating.
It's not a book. It's 20 pages or something. You can read it in 5 minutes.
I also don't get the fuss about this looking great. In the age of CGI everything looks the same.

CGI or not, this still looks like it'll be a good movie. I'm kinda getting sick of the Arnold fanboys *****ing about this. I mean, the original was fun, but they seem to forget that it was campy as hell, too! This looks like it'll be more serious while still being fun.So because it has that number of pages, it isn't a book?So what would you call it then?
Not true. At all. It might be easier to have great looking CGI in this day and age but that's different.

I can understand them changing the Mars setting to a more high-tech, futuristic Earth because, first of all, Phillip K. Dick (the writer of the original short story) is, in a way, known for all the flying cars and stuff we see in a lot of futuristic settings. Some good examples of this would be Minority Report and ESPECIALLY Blade Runner, both of which were ALSO based off of stories he wrote, for Pete's sake!
How can you say it has no soul after seeing literally 20 seconds of footage?
PKD's stories are not about flying cars. Minority Report and this movie hardly look like the worlds he described.
