Lmao. Seriously, guys? You call Kate Beckensale "Darth Sexy"? That's hillarious!
yeah it is. lolCan't wait for the trailer.
Same here! Btw, I'm REALLY hoping whatever call from the REKALL viral site will lead to the official release of the footage I saw at NYCC, a la the **MOVIE phone number from the end of the Prometheus trailer.
you saw the footage at comic con last year!?! How was it? I heard it was mind blowing and most of the footage was of Kate.![]()
It started off with Doug Quaid (Colin Farrell) being told about Rekall by some dude (forgot who it was; I think it was a black guy), while showing Quaid arriving there some point later like in the movie. However, unlike the movie, the Rekall building actually has a more Asian architecture-eque look to it. After getting set up, he's placed in the machine you see in the trailer sneak peek (which, as you guys might notice, also looks a lot different that in the original film).
No sooner do the people attempting to giving him the implanted fantasy he requested find that his mind had been previously tampered with and think he's a spy, then a squad of masked soldiers in white uniforms (they're probably working for Cohagan, who we see at the end of the footage later on) bust in from out of nowhere and gun everyone down except Quad. This leads to Quaid being held at gunpoint with his hands above his head, like in this officially release photo here. Btw, just to clear things up, Quaid is awake the whole time during this sequence up to that point and does not spazz out like Arnold did in the original film. Anyway, Quaid suddenly starts kicking the soldiers' asses (a la the scene with Jason Bourne vs the two random cops in the park in the Bourne Identity), while more goons charge in and try and smoke him out with high-tec-looking frag grenades. Eventually, Quaid sets a trap for the remaining soldiers by briefly locking the room and then rigging a pile of the explosives to explode in their faces, all the while escaping through some kind of vent. The footage then concludes with a montage of stuff like the flying cars (the CGI on the cars was unfinished when I saw this at NYCC, but they look great in the trailer sneak peek), Quaid fighting his fake "wife" (played by Kate Beckensale in this version), and finally a quick exchange of dialogue between Quaid and some old-looking guy (I think it was Cohaggen, but I could be wrong) after the title logo comes up).
Nice... thats awesome. But no fight scene between Kate and Jessica??
Cool. Gods Im excited. About freaking time Len releases a trailer!! Like...geez...maybe he was too busy, you know ahem with... eh naw. lol
Yeeeah, let's not go there, lol. He's actually a better director in that regard than Paul "Worthless ****" Anderson.
