This is the thread where we discuss the previews/trailers that were shown during your showing(s) of Superman Returns and the crowd reactions to them (if any).

Spider-Man received the biggest reaction of course.. Followed by John Tucker Must Die I think...

I walked in at the beginning of another showing at the same theater and they had:

Ant Bully looks uninspired as all hell.

Spider-Man 3...rocked. People cheered (including me..which embarresed by GF)

We had the pleasure in seeing the INVINCIBLE and Navitiy Story trailer 2 friggin' times! hahaha. Someone screwed up or did it on purpose (it was the 1045 show) By the third one, people were cheering by the end of Navity. Funny stuff!

that's what i meant about the teaser not being "attached" to the SR reel. its up to the theater manager to place the Spiderman teaser where he wants it

I saw Superman in two different rooms in the same theatre. One had Spider-Man, the other didn't. What the hell is that?

Well, yeah, if you noticed my first post, it was the same at my theater too..

The reason for this is because that when they send in the prints for a new movie, the trailers are never usually all the same. Only one or two movies are attached to all of the prints to the same movie and the others are randomly put onto the reels. In some instances, the same preview might be on a print twice. This usually happens at smaller theaters.

If I had to guess, The Ant Bully and Lady In The Water are probably the only two trailers that would be attached to the majority of the prints from the studios as they are from Legendary Pictures.

A similar thing happened with the new X-Men trailer with prints on V for Vendetta. I tried to warn people, if they really want to see the trailer, it will help to call ahead of time to find out if they have the X3 trailer and if so, where and when will they be showing it, because alot of theaters (especially the ones with more than 12 screens) won't have the same trailers for the same movie every time.

My theater was having technical problems when the trailers started so I didn't get to see the Spider-man 3 trailer on the big screen. I did however, see these worthless movie trailers:
