It has been confirmed that among law enforcement, a theory is that Trump wasn’t deemed conservative enough for the shooter.

This was a given, considering all of the news from locals that Thomas Matthew Crooks was a stringent conservative. He matches the classic (I’d say stereotypical) profile of a far right shooter.

Read that the shooting victim's wife who's waiting for Trump to call said her husband was a "devout" Republican and wouldn't have liked her taking a call with President Biden. Nothing culty there...

We will see, i will say, the 11th circuit court has been very fair in their rulings and have over turned many of Judge Cannons rulings, citing her lack of knowledge of the law or bias, the scary thing is, there is rumblings that if Trump is reelected, he will be able to fill two more seats on the supreme court and Judge Cannon is a leading contender by many republicans to fill one of those seats, let that sink in

I'm no legal expert, but can a judge not face legal liability by making such a shady backroom deal that's a clear conflict of interest? @Babillygunn, @Mike Murdock, @DKDetective

An appointed federal judge can only really be removed through impeachment proceedings initiated by Congress including the trial in the Senate. At least, this is my understanding.

It's almost like we need a full on reform on Federal Judges from SCOTUS and down.

If it matters, viewership for the republican national convention is down by 5 million viewers as compared to the 2016 convention
Maybe nobody wants to hear their bs any more than I do. :(

It was the highest viewership. Even higher than Biden's Inauguration. :o

I really don’t know what I would do differently (aside from a code of ethics, which is drastically necessary.)

If you look at our state courts, there is a glut of awful judges who have no business being on the bench, but for various reasons, they are able to get people to vote for them.

As much as I hate to say it because she was awesome, Ginsburg didn’t do any favors by not retiring when Obama could appoint her successor. Her staying on at her age and her health literally changed the course of world history.

Who's to say McConnell would have allowed a nomination to be put forward......remember? Even if we had a crystal ball, and she retired over a year before election.......

Trust me. I remember. Lest you forget that I’m a Kentuckian. He was my senator. I’m not proud.

Oh I'm sure this going to work out so well...

She had a cancer scare in 1999 and another in 2009. There was no excuse really. How many brushes with death did she need? Three? Four?

And the Democrats had the Senate in 2009, so again, no excuse.

One of the worst decisions in US History.
