Kind of crazy that Trump’s Inauguration is happening on the same day as Martin Luther King day, the same day we celebrate a man who brought us forward is the same day we will celebrate another man who will bring us backwards.

I just want to say, as a former evangelical conservative raised in the bible belt, I'm ashamed and embarassed that I ever thought any of those people took the teachings of Jesus seriously.

Im really not sure what has happened to much of the religiuos groups in this country, especially the evangelical christians, they are as far from the teachings of Jesus as any mainstream religion and ive heard reports they now consider Jesus to be "woke" , now is that true, i certainly hope not, but we know that the republican party likes to tell us americans how they are the party of Jesus, yet, their policies are as far from his teachings as one can get, which leads me to think our political system as coupted at least one major religious group.
