I've brought this up before. He keeps on repeating simple thoughts that you hear from children and is unable to connect any of them to anything else or deal with any level of complexity when it comes to economic, foreign, or domestic policy.

"Tariffs will bring jobs back" - it will raise prices unless the middle man eats them
"I will end these wars before I'm even in office" - "How" is nowhere to be found
"I will deport all the illegal immigrants" - with no mention of who will do those jobs.

In all cases, he makes a simple statement, but provides no analysis, roadmap, or underlying reasoning. I don't believe this is a technique he is consciously using, but is, rather, an inability to form coherent, connected thoughts. I think he "believes" he's making sense because, in his mind, they ARE coherent.

To put is simply, he's losing his mind. I'm sure he can still perform the tasks ingrained in him from many years of practice, His longer term memory is still somewhat intact, but he's unable to form new ideas and concepts. At least, that's how it seems to me. Just imagine the dangers of him being in a seat of power now; let alone 3 or 4 years down the road with further deterioration.
