He is just gonna be an annoying character. I dont care who the actor is. An annoying character is an annoying character

Sad to see that Bay doesn't let go of that idiotic type of humor, those posters look amazing, as i'm sure the filmm will also look. I just think that Michael Bay needs to give the franchise to someone else for a while, he can maintain control like he wants to, but i think he should let someone who cares more about characters and plot do the next films, and not a poor man's Michael Bay like the guy that's making TMNT, i would hope for someone like Neil Blomkamp, who i heard was a fan of Bay.

Bay can do Bad Boys III, i don't mind it, but i think that he has stayed too long with the franchise, my only fear is that the replacement will be from the school of Jon Chu or Liebesman Directing, which is an overuse of CGI and even more inconsistent plot than Michael Bay.

But you don't need that kind of frat boy comedy to atract 1 billion dollars, the main atraction of these films has been the action and special effects. I also remember Bay stating that he's not sure if he will return for the following films, but that he Directed this one for the new trilogy to start on the "right foot", i'm just afraid that they'll hire one of the most serviceable Directors working today like the ones i mentioned, i would like to see someone that stays true to the franchise but also brings his oun vision, like Vaughn did with First Class for example.

Well, Bay admited that Revenge of the Fallen was underwhelming and that he would cut on the "nerdy" humor, the problem is that he ended up not cutting it all that much for the 3rd film.

It is? I think i rated it highly, but it's not realy due to this being a very good franchise, i hated the 2nd movie, the 3rd was one of my best experiences in a 3D movie, so i'm hoping to get a similar experience from the 4th film. Also gives me the Dinossaur fix until Jurassic World comes out.

I hope you're not misunderstanding me, i really don't think these are good movies, the only Bay film i could call "good" with a straight face is The Rock. As for most anticipated, i thought i put Godzilla on top, though it ended up disapointing me. In the most anticipated films thread i also put Saint Seiya: Legend of the Sanctuary, a film that i'm sure will be bad and flop, but i have interest in seeing what comes out of it and how the process of adaptation will go.

My most anticipated films are usualy reeduced to interest in the experience i will get, rather than the overal quality of the story i'm being told. With the few exception of Godzilla, which i was hoping to also get an amazing film, the trailers and teasers made it look like it was going to be an event film.
