I personally thought this one was leaps and bounds better than the **** that was ROTF.

Saw it!!

If you don't care about story, and if the movie have crazy enough action/FX then this is definitely awesome.

But if you really want plot, maybe this isn't the movie for you.

I don't pretend to be a serious critic, I think movies with a lot of action is pretty awesome too.

I think critics will always **** on whatever Bay does. They hate him. Eve when he went low budget with Pain and Gain, they still tore him apart.

But frankly I think Bay deserves it. I saw Pain and Gain, it was just such a puerile teenage level film - as dumb as you want. The story was actually good and I kept thinking what wold the Coen brothers do with it.

This might become Bay's worst reviewed film which seems like a record.

And from the reviews, the critics have already sworn to trash TF 5 and 6.

I think Michael Bay's worst offense is change so much from the comics/TV show. If he would been more faithful to the source, I guarantee fans would hardly think anything sucks.

For instance, if Grimlock said "Me Grimlock King" that would no doubt get a huge applause from the crowd.

There are so much added crap that just wasn't in the TV show, comics and those stuff took a lot of movie time, so that's MB's worst offense.

Being faithful to the source is very important, too bad many of these directors neglects that.

Bayformers 4 was awesome. People act like they Transformers are some highbrow Dickensian literature or creation that can't be touched. It's robots that transform into cars and fight each other, be happy be have gotten 4 ****ing films about it.

I am not saying I don't enjoy action movies on it's own merits, but I do understand why people compare though.

No these movies are not THAT faithful!

They're as faithful or more faithful than most comic book movies.

I wonder if, perhaps by removing the gratuitous T&A shots and the racist humour, Michael Bay is losing his fan base, leading to claims that this is worse than the other movies.

No.

It was just crap..

Wow, ROTF rating on RT huh? Now that's BS. I in no way expected a high rating but Critics are just done with this series and are not even bothering to see how this is leaps and bounds better then the past two.

Really dug this flick. Lockdown was a fantastic villain.

I knew you would like the film! :D

Anyway, I might watch this tonight or tomorrow.

This is the first Transformers movie I wasnt able to watch in the cinema. I just dont know if I could endure a 17% RT Bay movie when I had a hard time enduring a 57% RT Bay movie.

The emphasis some of you put on RT to determine whether or not you see a movie is depressing.

Ever consider, you know, seeing it and judge it for yourself?

Haha I had a good time. Nice to see the autobots get some screen time and dialogue for once.

If you like these movies for what they are I think you'll really enjoy this one.

Hmmm I'm not really expecting to enjoy it, though I enjoyed Dark of the Moon a little bit for its action, like the building scene.

And yes, more dialogue for the Autobot would please me as I find them more interesting than the human characters.

Probably the best way to go into it. And Yeah, the building collapse and freeway chase were my favorite things in DOTM. That film pissed me off alot more as a whole.

But that's different from your original statement, and I would agree a lot of these movies (TFs) do skip past the source material like not homing in on some of the personalities that these TFs have in the comic books and shows.

Hmm maybe that is one of the main reasons I didn't like it

this is the reason why Marvel has the loyal fan base it has cause they embrace the silliness of the comics

Now that the robots look like they have human faces if he would have gave megatron is classic look in the first movie people would have praised him

Are you noticing that there are like 50 3D showings for this thing and like only 4-5 2D ones? Goddamn you, AMC.
