World Transformers animated movie IDW adaption

Has anyone read the IDW comic version of the '86 movie. Apparently there are extra scenes in it where it reveals what happened to some of the characters not in the movie.
Can anyone let me know what these scenes are? Are there many of them?

Eh, there wasn't really much. Really the only significant scene added was to explain where Omega Supreme and the Autobot combiner teams were during the assault on Autobot City (blocked from reaching the city by the other Decepticon combiners, basically).
