I guess the word might by "stylized." ... or "cutesy" as oppossed to realistic. The whole Power Puff Girls style is a bit overdone nowadays. Teen Titans worked because of great writing... not sure how well that'll work for Transformers. If the writing is good I'm sure folks will forgive it.

I hope not. I wanted to see both of those characters get vaporized in the 86 movie. The only character in cinema history that annoys me more than those is Jar Jar Binks.

I'll admit that it looked better than I expected. My expectations were low, however. I've now moved this show from the "written off" list to the "giving it a chance" list. It actually reminded me of a modern update of G1 in some ways.

Exactly. This cartoon looks like kids are gonna love it, and that's what counts at the end of the day. We got a "grown up" TF through the movie, so be happy with it and let the kids have a TV show.

WTF? This looks like crap. And seriously, what is up with that little girl? It makes it look like the Autobots are her pets or something. STUPID! I liked how it worked out in the movie, but humans do NOT belong in a Transormers cartoon. It's supposed to be about the Autobots and the Decepticons. The Autobots are NOT supposed to be superheroes! I don't mind design chage, but when you make the Decepticons the lesser threat than the humans, then something is wrong!

If you are making a kids cartoon you have to have a kid in it! Don't watch this show then.It for little kids so they are not making the cartoons your age.

this cartoon is NOT gonna mess transformers up. if anything, it'll gain a number of new fans and open them up to the comics and better stuff...it doesnt matter what u think, cuz it's for kids. and that's why transformers has been around for this long; there's always something for the kids and geeky adults who buy like 100s of transformers toys(ironic).

besides...there are only a handful of geeks. we cant make a cartoon for a minority. might as well make it for the kids where cartoons do best.

More importantly, it looks like they kept the relationships from the G1 series.
I'll watch it...as long as the stories are decent and not like "Bumblebee has to take the kids on a school tour!"
