As for IMDB, you can't trust them at all because crazy fanboys will give a movie a 10 without even seeing it and stupid haters will give it a 1 for no reason at all. Seriously just look at this. It's Bruce Campbell's newest film that's not even released yet but rabid fanboys are giving it 10s. It currently has close to 1000 votes and it holds a 9.9/10 when it hasn't even come out yet...

I knew someone would say this.
That's why I've been posting the day to day numbers for the early screenings.
Does anyone honestly believe that all the female ratings have been faked?
Who goes to the trouble of creating a fake account, as a female no less just to sabotage/boost a film?
Yes, there's extremes, but just for humor sake, let's throw aside the 10s and the 1s, you get:
1,822 17.8% 9
968 9.5% 8
593 5.8% 7
317 3.1% 6
186 1.8% 5
105 1.0% 4
102 1.0% 3
88 0.9% 2
Which still seems to indicate an overwhelmingly positive reaction.
It's bizarre to see the female audience rating the movie higher than the male portion. That's quite likely due to the 10/1 factor that's in play at the moment.
Anyways, I just thought it would be interesting to see the trending among the subgroups. I figured most reviewers would go the cliched "it doesn't appeal to females" attack, and the votes seem to indicate otherwise (at least among females that actually see the film)
I'll post an update later today with new numbers.
