Last night I looked for a Classics Ultra Magnus, but still no luck. So I did the next best thing and bought a cheap Classics Prime and repainted him in Ultra Magnus's battle armor colors. I also went ahead and painted over the awful purple and orange on Megatron and made him the old colors, and made some touch ups on Starscream (gold landing gear, red on a few grey areas). All of it turned out great, some of these figures really shine with the right paint, heck I think Optimus' mold looks better with Ultra Magnus colors now.

I apologize for the pics, my more expensive camera takes crap photos indoors so I had to use my webcam, and I have poor lighting atm as one of my light bulbs went out and I have to use a ladder to change it as it's a pretty tall room. So the pics are a bit dark and grainy so it doesn't do them justice.

Hopefully it's at least good enough to give a clue as to how they look. I painted Ultra Magnus' gun black and Weather Vane white on top blue on bottom as well.

Oh, and I also bought a classics Devastator. I'm pretty disapointed with it lol. I have a knock off of the original and think it's better than the new classic version. I mainly bought it thinking it'd be cool to have each individual part of devastator having articulation, and Devastator himself having good articulation and even knee joints when combined. The individual parts were a bit shorter than I expected, some of the figures were black rather than green, and the Devastator face is pretty awful, plus the hands aren't that great. I did read a kitbash deal tho of putting the knock off Devastator head on the new one, so I might do that.

Both alternating. Have them all in robot mode for a while and then all in alt mode for a while.

Classics Devi is just the Energon lines Construction team (Constructicon Maximus) with new colours for the limbs (he's also made up of 1 deluxe and 4 scouts). Now he is an homage to G1 Devastator but he could have had a more Devastator face.

Energon had three combiners. Superion Maximus and Brusticus Maximus are the other two.

Also I've started building a Scrapmetal horde. Scrap metal is sooo cute I had to have many. My ultimate goal it to have 2 red Scrapmetal's between 3 and 6 yellow Scrapmetal's. And a blue GF Ramble (the Takara version of the toy) to lead them.

hmm well i displayed my beast wars in animal form.. just made it easier... so id prob do the car form.. unless they looked awsome in robo form

Oh, to go with the train HOS prime I posted earlier on, someone on the same website did an HOS Megatron, thought I'd post it. It's still a line I'd love for Hasbro to do.

Anyone ever see the Optimus Primal vs Megatron two pack at TRU? They're pretty awesome pretty darn close to the CGI cartoon as they can get. I've seen them once or twice but always waiting on picking them up.

The guys at tfans.com say that the two pack is still out there...but I haven't seen it lately.
