he isnt mexican..he's honduran and german..lol

I knew the Honduran part but I coulda sworn his other parent was Mexican. I remember reading it in a magazine.

Hoduran, Mexican, whatever. Not all beaners are Mexican. I worked in a kitchen full of beaners and I was probaly one of a few Mexicans. A couple were from Ecuador and one was Honduras if I recall correctly. They all crossed the same border.

howlong ago did these hush figures come out?

Almost a year ago, I think. Damn, those things is old.

That Scarecrow and the Ra's al Ghul from the same wave are pretty good, however.

That was wave 3.

It had Scarecrow, Ra's, Comisionor Gordon, Alfred and Flight Suit Batman.

I was looking at some DCD figs the other day........I couldn't imagine.....I couldn't image most Marvel characters in the DCD style.

Take a DCD Batman in your hand and Try to picture Spider-man done in this style. Try to picture Wolverine done in this style.

I couldn't do it. I just cannon picture Marvel characters in this style.....Maybe Iron Man, Not modern Iron Man...But older IMs.

But it seems to really work for DC Characters. maybe ML has spoiled me, but I absolutely can't picture Marvel Characters done like DCDs.

Anyone else care to chime in on the subject?

i can the fan four, cap america, iornman, the avengers and other characters in the dcu style i dunno about spiderman, buty dcd can do a better job then what marvel gives.

That's all opinion-based, really. I think Toy Biz has done better than DC Direct as far as translating their superheroes into good action figures. DCD's just too darn limited by it's pricing and its decision to make all their figures as of late artist-specific.

I do feel that the artist specific lines make it kinda hard for figures to mesh with each other. Especially when the scale is outta whack (likewith the Knightfall Catwoman being too tall to fit with other lines such as the Hush figures). And some artist-specific lines hit it right while others fall flat (Michael Turner figs for instance).

But all in all I still like most of what DCD puts out, but mostly because of the characters and not so much the figure.

You know.....I actually came to terms with the Kinightfall Catwoman. Look at the heels on that *****, that and her hair.........She's only a bit too tall now, but not all that outta scale.

Not as much as the entire Justice line Pisses me off.

Eh, whatever. That line rules. IT RULES I TELL YOU!!!

guys, what dc direct toys are due to hit this month? My toy shop guy/comic guy around the corner just said he's expecting some dc direct today? is it...THE ALEX ROSS LINE? the new Justice? or is it something else?

and while i'm at it, when's south park wave 2 hitting?

The justice toy like is th eonly ones i'm still collecting, besides a few here an there.

Any Onc buy the Loony Toons figs from DCD? I almost did last week but bought the Angel Puppet instead.

NAh. Maybe down the line I may see some I like but for now I'm passing on the Looney Toons stuff.

A bit pricey, but every now and then, I'll pick something like this up.

A Bruce Wayne would look so cool next to that.
