Yeah I thought I remembered reading that Fallen was in another dimension or locked away, waiting for someone to let him out. If he has been just chilling in a ship, why didn't he help out 2 years ago? Also, why is Megatron so pissed that Starscream took over when they both take orders from Fallen. It wasn't like Starscream was out doing his own thang.

i think this is really the writters strike. if htey would had more time then they would wrotte teh Fallen better and how he was connected to Earth.

^The Fallen didnt want to come to Earth because Prime was there, and only a Prime can defeat him, once he thought Prime was out of the way, he came to Earth. I thought it was quite simple.

It would have been nice of them if they actually explained why only a Prime can take care of him. What's so special about a Prime? Megatron beat him down in the first one. And Prime doesn't have any special abilities. He can't teleport over the globe or destroy an army by raising his arms. What the hell was he afraid of? Hell, they even had the numbers on their side and freaking Devastator. The Fallen was simply poorly done.

Wasn't Fallen supposed to be sealed away in some inter-dimensional sarcophagus? That would've made so much more sense. In defiance the Primes sacrifice themselves to seal The Fallen, not the Matrix. The Star Harvester was supposed to grant one Cybertronian immense power, that's why he wanted it.

I liked this movie a lot, after watching revenge of the fallen i was in a high spirited mood and for all the people who are tearing it too pieces, well im sure this has been said before but this is based off a toy line from the 80's. This is a strait up fantasy movie with tons of humor and action and that's exactly what i expected before seeing the film. If people wanted a deep story then they came to the wrong place but i can understand how expectations can rise and fall for a lot of people out there, i hate to bring up the whole spider-man 3 thing again but i had high expectations for that movie just because a long time favorite character of mine was finally going to be on the big screen and after i saw the movie it made me not want to see any more spider-man films at the theater ever again. Anyways all im trying to say is expectations for big block buster films should be handled more carefully and im pretty sure a lot of people are smart enough to know what they want or don't want to see when it comes to movies.

People like Micheal Bay will be the death of all good film whether they be good action or otherwise. Instead of multi-talented super stars such as Micheal Jackson and Farah Fawcett, Micheal Bay should have been the one to die horribly and painfully.

I guess I must have missed all the humping robots and sexual innuendos in the toyline based G1 cartoon. I didn't expect an Oscar worthy story, but I also didn't expect the stupidity level to be raised by a factor of 100. I laughed at most of the jokes in the first Transformer, here it was just embarassing.

How would he be the one to blame for"the death of all good films"? He may make movies a lot of people hate but that doesn't mean it will somehow stop directors who make deeper films with more quality to them. Once again this is a case of someone who decided to watch a Michael Bay film fully knowing what to expect...yet they keep watching his films and complaining! Save yourself the disappointment and don't see anymore of his films. After seeing House of the Dead and then later a friend talked me into seeing Alone in the Dark since he was a huge fan of the games, I vowed to never watch another Uwe Boll film...and I don't.

I'm not so sure if this is honestly a case of knowing what to expect. Pearl Harbor, The Rock, Armageddon, The Island. Are any of these movie anywhere near the level of stupidity that is Revenge of the Fallen? Maybe Bad Boys II, but the others?

Doesn't matter, a Bay film is still a Bay film. They may have different characters and stories but you kind of know what to expect in regards to action, sex and the humour.

What do you mean it doesn't matter? Yes we know Bay's movies are on the simple side and he puts focus on the action. But you can't tell people they should've known what to expect when none of his other Movies displayed a level of stupidity and immaturity as ROTF did. Hell, I surely didn't expect the stuff that happened in ROTF and I freaking liked the first Movie.

Listen, I really enjoyed the first film and plan on seeing the sequel this weekend, and I think I'll like it too. The rest of Bay's films may not have had as much stupid and immature humour as RotF but after reading many many fan reviews and opinions I've been slightly leaning towards the fans who liked the film. It seems that a lot of them are saying that the negative views are a bit exaggerated and that the humour isn't much worse than the first films.

Until I see the film for myself I can't fully say if this film was dumbed down more than his past films but I think it will be on par with the first.

Ok, so you haven't seen the movie yet, then you shouldn't really be telling people what they should've expected and what not. Have fun when you're finally watching it. The movie is by no means a disaster, the action is great, even though the final drags horribly long and some of the humor isn't bad. Anything involving Bumblebee is still as hilarious as in the first movie. But there's a lot of immature and sexual stuff added, that simply didn't need to be there.

I think the movie was idiotic too, but I'd tone it down a bit.
