Transformers: The War for Cybertron

I just finished the Decepticon campaign on hard and I never once thought wow that AI is ******ed. Obviously the enemy a.i isn't the greatest but I thought your teammates were quite helpful in battle plus the banter between the Decepticons is hilarious and awesome. Despite my unhappiness at times with the scout class, I absolutely love the multiplayer, it is probably one of the most balanced shooters out there right now. Screw a Transformers 3 video game next year, I want to see a sequel to this.

I'm becoming rather annoyed with this code. I'm at the website and it's showing me my redeemed code but every time I attempt to enter it into the redeem code section on my PS3....it fails.

According to Gamestop game codes are not activated until 5pm Eastern. That's for both PS3 and 360.

Alright, I went to register at transformersgame.com. I clicked on my varification email and got to the log in page. When I log in, it tells me my info is wrong. I go to forgot password and it tells me my email is not found. When I reenter my information, it tells me my email is already used. When I reclick the varification link in my email, it takes me to the "you need to varifiy you email" page. I've done this with three different emails already. WTF is going on?

I just played the first 2 Decepticon acts for a few hours and the game is freaking awesome, without a doubt the best Transformers game to date!!!:awesome::up: It's so much fun to play and I haven't even touched the multiplayer yet, the only reason I stopped was because I had to eat lol!!!:o:oldrazz::D So far this sucker's a 10/10, Awesome!!!:awesome::up:

It sucks that online multiplayer is the "meat" of the game. I got a house full of people who would love to play the game for hours. More offline co-op substance please.

It has a 3 person co op campaign and then there's the escalation mode which is pretty fun

the entire single player campaign is 12 hours long...that's enough to make me happy, lol.

The co op campaign is the regular campaign so its around 12 hours depending on I suppose. Wow the online really sucks now, either you get disconnected or you're hit with a huge amount of lag. Not even fun anymore.

For what system?

Why do people hate activision?

Over at IGn a bunch of people are swearing off buying the game because the publisher is activision.

360. Deathmatch seems to work fine but I wanna play some conquest not deathmatch

RDR was completely unplayable for me online until recently. People hate Activision because they became the new evil empire of gaming. I'm not a fan of them but swearing off a game just because Activision PUBLISHED it is ******ed.

They want to skip out on a high scoring game because of a publisher? Their loss.

I dont think it is. While I personally wouldnt not buy a game I want or might find interesting bc of a publisher, I defiently can see why others would. Some publishers think they can get away with anything. Overprice their content, release glitchy games, fail to fix their problems, ignore issues that have been brought, push quantity over quality, and carry on a greedy mentality and not really care about disatisfying customers as long as they are making money. In recent times, thats been viewed as Activision. And why do they continue on the way that they have? Bc people are still willing to buy their games and support them. They say the best way to make a statement is with your wallet and I cant fault anyone for doing just that. I think more people should do that. Not necesarily to Activision or gaming but in general. Dont b-tch but then turn around and support the company you are complaining about by giving them your money. If you dont like them, then dont feed into them. Ive always found that ridiculous. For example people who hate on Gamestop big time, but then go and buy games there. Makes no sense. If people hate Activision and are actually following through with not buying their games, then more power to them. They are putting their money where their mouth is

but does it really make a difference?

If enough ppl stop purchasing their products, yes. Now is that going to happen, prob not. Activision is aware of some of the animosity towards their company. Their COO just released a statement talking about just that.

Any way, as for this game, im seeing a lot of positive reviews. I was planning on skipping it due to the fact that im not crazy about the orig Transformers, but i did actually enjoy the last movie game, so im deff gonna give this game a try.

Like I said above though, they won't be hurting activision they'll be hurting High Moon Studio. If this game doesn't sell (it will) activision will simply drop the franchise and instead push out yet another Guitar Hero.

The Activision boycott will work out about as well as the EA boycott from a few years back when they monopolized the NFL market, or the PC Modern Warfare 2 boycott due to the PC version not having dedicated servers.

I'm willing to bet over HALF the gamers saying they're boycotting Activision are only playing face on forums to fit in with a cool interwebz group. Again, do I like Activision shady business practices? No, I don't...but in the end I am a gamer and if a game is GOOD I'm going to buy it regardless, more so if it's from a developer (High Moon) that has shown great care for a franchise I've been a fan of since I can remember, much like Rock Steady and AA.

In a few years time every gamer will forgive Activision and move onto another company to hate. My I'm calling it now....Ubisoft. :p

Decepticon or Autobot campaign first? I've heard the Decepticon campaign is a prequel to the Autobot campaign...but, in the end does it matter what I play first? Will the Autobot campaign make more sense if I play the Decepticon intro first?

I don't think it really matters alot, it may help explain a few things but no in the end it make no difference. I just went straight in order. I love how its two seperate storylines contributing to a larger storyline instead of just the usual same story but different sides to it.

ultimately, does Activision care? No, bc the numbers probably arent high enough to make a difference. Its more of a matter of principle. If those people feel so strongly against a company then good for them for nto supporting them. To throw in a personal experience, I had a bad experience with Verizon a few years ago. Bc of that I have nothing good about the company and will never buy a Verizon product or service again. Do I make any impact to their business or finances? Of course not but for me, its more of a matter of principle. Thats why I can understand where those gamers might be coming from and see nothing wrong with them refusing to buy Activision products

I could've had the game today, but the owner of the games store had a damn doctor's appointment! So he closed early. :argh:
