Transformers: The War for Cybertron

Anyone here got any advice how to defeat the last boss of Autobot campaign?

When he fires the missiles from the sky, transform and drive around the stage as fast as you can. When he charges up that energy ball, dash from side to side until he stops. Use that big plasma cannon on him that's located at the top of the stage - it'll wear him down easily. Make sure you constantly go to the bottom the level to get some health.

My only complaint is that I have had a real hard time getting a connection to a game of MP. I connect after 3-4 tries and that gets real annoying fast, but once connected, it is a lot of fun.

Yeah I had a tough time as well, it's a lot of fun once you're in though!!!:awesome::up:

Finally finished the Autobot campaign as well. Good lord... Tripticon... what a f***tard of a boss! :wall: Nothing than one spam attack after the other. Took me several tries and many quick deaths till I finally got my act together and took him down.

I'm just a little disappointed at the ending.

I was hoping that they'd board the Ark and have a wild chase with Megatron and then crash on earth.

I don't remember all the comics and read War Within a long time ago, but would there be enough material to make a sequel to this, before they finally take off into space?

Anyway, good game. I give it a solid 8/10.

I beat the game last night and it's AWESOME, I love it,:awesome::up: but man Tripticon was a beast to beat,:argh: I had missiles coming out of my butt he was shooting so much lol and I officially hate robot spiders!!!:argh: Anyway the game's awesome, the story's great, the multiplayer's great, if you can connect, which I'm sure a patch will fix that, so it's all good, definitely the best TF game by far!!!9.5/10:awesome::up:

P.S. Eternal I tried to join your game last night but it said it was full, so maybe next time!!!:)

I saw on their little bottom line thing in the multiplayer lobby that there is a patch coming soon to fix many problems including losing xp when the host quits.

I hope the patch will also fix the texture problem. I can't believe that the game installed something over 4GB on my harddrive, yet sometimes have to wait 10+ seconds till all of the textures are in place.

I've nearly finished, although at this stage, i'm going to trade it back into EB to get my money back, and then use that money to get Mario Galaxy 2. I'm enjoying it, just can't see myself replaying it much. Shame theres no split screen.

Question...

Is the co-op only online or can me and my buddy do a campaign while playing together at the house?

Activision In Talks With Hasbro Over More Transformers Games

Transformers: War For Cybertron is good enough to deserve a sequel, but that doesn't mean the next non-movie game will be another shooter.

BotCon, the world's biggest Transformers fans convention, was held over the weekend, and part of the festivities was a Q&A session between fans and Matt Tieger (High Moon Studios) and Aaron Archer (Hasbro).

One of the questions a fan posed was whether the success of WfC could lead to a "brand expansion", with an example given being a Transformers role-playing game.

Archer responded that it's something the toy giant is "considering" (the expansion in general terms, not an RPG specifically), that the game "presents an opportunity" and that they're "talking with Activision" about the future of the franchise.

To show he's serious about his games, Archer joked that he'd love to see a racing game: Twisted Metal Transformers.

I like where this is going. The adventures of the original animated Transformers had solid, lovable characters while subsequent comic series have introduced some great storylines. Mass Effect: Robots In Disguise would go down very well with a lot of people.

I have 2 chapters left (IX-X) in the game. This is the first game I paid $60 for since KZ2 and so far its worth every penny. Haven't tride MP yet but I plan to prestige into Prime mode atleast one time after I complete the SP.

Sequel(s)? Yes please!

Beat the game a couple of days ago. Loved it. Both campaigns were equally fun but I thought Zeta Prime was taken down a bit too easily. Though it was still a fun boss battle.

Especially since it's Activision and they'll end up as DLC. Just as Juggernaut and the Weapon X pre-order bonuses. I have a Shockwave code that I'm tempted to sell. I'm not an enormous TF fan, so I could live without him. But at the same time, I'd like to keep it just in case they don't.

you can also hide on the left side of that final area...when he shoots the airborne missles, get up against the wall on the left side and when he shoots the plasma blasts, stand right behind the ramp that leads to the upper part of the ledge

Rumor for now but.....

Become the ultimate weapon and wage war in four new maps – engage in multiplayer combat in HAVOC and FORTRESS or fend off waves of Autobots in DISTRICT, and Decepticons in FORSAKEN, two new Escalation mode maps. Also gain access to 5 characters and their chassis for use in Escalation mode and Multiplayer character creation; SCATTERSHOT, ONSLAUGHT, DEMOLISHOR, SHOCKWAVE and JAZZ are ready for battle. Fight to the end in the war that started it all! There are no refunds for this item.

I saw that a few minutes ago, too. I just put my Shockwave code on eBay for $20 (or best offer). Even if it's just a rumor (which I doubt since this is just like Activision), I won't lose any sleep over not having Shockwave. I'm not a huge G1 fan.

I think it depends on how sales of it are. If they're not what Activision wanted, I think they'll do it sooner rather than later so people buy it before they lose interest in a month or so.
