alba looks leaner than usual, but definately pulls it off. she's not too skinny.

kate def lost weight since filming SR... wtf kate put it back on!
Yeah she didnt look attractive at all being that thin:down

Bale's wife is hotter than Bosworth.

I've always prefered natural brunettes over blondes (dating a brunette myself). Kate doesn't look that good as a brunette, I'm sorry to say.

Speaking of brunettes, Rouths's hair in that clip was so brown that it can make poop blush (J/K). It might seem to be minor thing but if they're willing to give him blue contacts, why not black hair? Minor, I know but I don't care!

supes has been around for almost 70 years...it's kinda hard to come up with totally original material for Superman within good taste. supes saving planes has been done several times but never in the movies or tv shows (excluding cartoons). i think it's a great way to show off Superman's abilities...

The clip seems to be very exciting, however. Despite on how 'orginal' it is, it does look tense.

Basically, you're saying that Singer is playing it 'safe' and is not willing to base anything on any modern Superman comics. I agree, but I don't think that Superman Returns will be boring movie. Just...slightly uninspired..

i think the opposite. i think this is a VERY inspired movie. it might not be original...but if anything this movie is inspired. inspired by all of the Superman shows and movies (which were inspired by the comics).

Bryan said this was a movie based around a comic book character, not a comic book.

MInd you, the movie isn't out so from what I've seen, it lacks that punch. Maybe because I'm more of a Batman/SPider-Man fan. But I have a lot of faith in Singer....

I haven't seen it yet either, but I know at VERY least it's going to be decent.

In my book, the movie is a homage to almost every previous Superman incarnation and current ones, from the George Reeves' inspired costume (as said by Singer himself), the vague connection to STM (and Smallville to an extent), to the comics (xenophobic Lex Luthor is out of the books), and the visual style which looks to be a mesh of Max Fleischer and Alex Ross. And I'm probably not even touching the tip of it.

Besides, if Superman saving a plane screams unoriginal, then I hope someone doesn't think a Batmobile chase scene or "I'm Batman" is original.

Besides,
having someone built a replica of your planet on earth, the having to lift it and toss it into outer space is pretty damned original.

He saved a plane in the first movie. Just not with as good effects, but I could care less, I want to see a more faithful to the comics supes not what some gay guy thinks of it.

This was pretty cool. And is just me or did Bale's speech rock?! Sounds like it came straight from the heart.
it's because it did. it's people like Nolan, Bale, Singer, and Routh that make these movies worth obsessing over...hehe.

Indeed and theres more to come too according to him.:)

I find it hard to beleive he is actually struglling to save that plane, then he later lifts new krypton laced with keyptonite. hmmmmm

I think it's all about perspective. We think he's struggling, but he could be doing a lot of things...

thinking, comtemplating, etc

RIPPING the wings off, instead of misjudging the scene and pulling them off my accident, etc...

lots of possiblities

true but his facial expression says other wise, its not like he flyies infront and tries to slow it that way, which i presumes he does at the very end. I am just pointing out that th ehave to clear expalin why it takes superman forever to stuff a plane, but he can toss a continent past Jupiter. hmmm
