True, the fact it's my TMZ is the most boggling thing here. They report trash all the time. They did it with Heath, too.

I'm thinking some fans are hoping it's a publicity stunt, like Heath's death was thought to be a publicity stunt by some, because Bale's words are simply too harsh and raw to be fake. If it's a stunt, it's a really courageous and bold one but I doubt it is because of the source reporting and the fact the "news" is old.

If it was a stunt it would have been sillier I think and easier to claim as fake.

I'm not saying the tirade itself was done as a publicity stunt. I'm saying that the audio being released 6 months later is a publicity stunt. It was leaked. Plain and simple. Seeing as how the movie is coming out soon, it makes sense that they would leak it right around the time that they did.

But yes!! Anyone who's been on a film set knows how they work and the do's and don't. It's clear this guy had screwed up in the past, and going by both of their resume's, I think it's clear who is able to get more work in their chosen profession. It was a blow up. And they moved on (since they are both on the picture doing re-shoots) so bleh, what's the big deal?

Hell, I had someone call me a f------ c--- one time when I worked at Blockbuster over a 50 cent late fee.

Trick is, with celebrities there's always someone around with a camera. The rest of us can go off and scream and yell and no one cares. It's only news if you're Batman. But whatever, I'm not shocked that GASP! He's human and says F--- a lot.

FERD!!! I just picture plugging in this same exchange, only to two mysterious individuals clad in all black, staked out on his front lawn with a tent and goggles...just lashing into us, because it's funny in my imagination.

I really think this just makes Christian even more awesome to me. I've been on set with some ****ty DP's before who let alot slip into the shot...and it's just insanely entertaining to see him rip this guy a new one. His vocabulary is also very Americanized compared to what any other Brits(Welshman, I know) would have said in the same situation...but yeah- being famous your screw ups are always going to be magnified to the ump-teenth degree. You should have been there for some of the times I had an actor, or even a random pedestrian wanting to go somewhere tear into me when I was trying to lock up and secure a set for a shot...Working as a PA, even I know the consquences of slipping up and destroying the illusion. It's not a game.

I think his angry tirade was hilarious, and amazing. I mean, he's been in showbiz since he was a toddler, so I'd imagine he's very comfortable around an open set, knows the proper conduct and wouldn't just go blasting off at somebody so high up unless he was being highly unprofessional while they were filming. As the DP(Director of Photog.) he should definitely know better than to go walking into the shot, especially if it's one they've worked through a bunch of times already...and Bale seems like the kinda guy who'd respect someone unless they were out of line. I just really think it was a flip out far beyond any other I've ever heard...I just hope there's video of it somewhere. I need this as a .gif and ringtone.

Thanks, that's a very mature way of looking at it. I'm just embarrassed by it all because I'm painfully conscious about awkwardness and weird situations in general and it just makes me feel uncomfortable. I didn't want to see Bale in this light, hence me being embarrassed for him and hoping it won't be a black mark on his career. I think it won't but it's an awkward situation nonetheless. Not something they'll be laughing over at dinner anytime soon, I'm sure.

He may have had a good reason to blow up like that but I still think it could have been avoided. No one did anything to stop it - that's the weird part. I'm thinking the people on set were bad mediators/too scared of Bale to do anything.

At the same time I LOL at it (it's a natural enough reaction, lots of people laugh at embarassing things) and am amazed how much media coverage it's getting. Heh, let's face it, it doesn't happen every day that we get explosive audio from a movie set.
