Two questions about "I´m not there"

I´m sorry if this is common knowledge and I´ve just been living under a rock, but I would really apreciate if anyone can answer these questions :
1.- Does any of the actors playing Bob Dylan actually sing in the movie, or is it all Dylan´s playback recording ?
2.- In the Billy The Kid scene, there´s a band playing and the singer wears a red jacket and white face paint, is that Heath Ledger ?? I think it´s him but I couldn´t be sure (when he´s not singing with his eyes closed and mouth wide open, he bows his head covering it with his hat)...

I would assume its playback music they are lipsynching too. Far as the 'billy the kid' scene,to be honest I can't remember? I was kindof dosing off watching this movie,it was way too long...

and it wasnt heath singing either

the guy singing for bale was mason jennings
it was a pretty perfect pick for bale i must say

and i cant remember the band that the painted face guy is from, but yeh its not heath

I thought it wasn´t Bale in the "Jack Rollings" part, cuz the voice actually sounded like Dylan to me, but then again, when he spoke it was the exact same voice, then in the "Rev. Jhon" part, it seemed like he was singing, I dunno why, but it seemed like it.

And I´m sorry, I tried to look for it for myself, but I couldn´t find anything on imdb and I really don´t know where else to look for these kinda facts...not all of us are internet savvy, ya know ?

Bale DID NOT sing his songs. His songs were performed by Mason Jennings.

In the Billy The Kid scene, that is NOT Heath Ledger. It's Jim James from a band called My Morning Jacket.
