Tyler Mane is in talks to play sabertooth again

ooh good i like a nice bit of continuity

Good! I hate when characters get re-cast. I think the only character I'm really glad they re-cast was Pyro. No offense to Alexander Burton, but he was absolutely NOT right for Pyro. He looks too much like Aaron Carter, lol. Aaron Stanford is great in that role.

believe me marvel is what made me value continuity

I'd be OK with Mane as Sabretooth. I never really got what people's problem with him was in the first place.

Agreed.
For me Mane was good too.

all i have to say is 'booooooo'.

get someone who has a minor degree of acting ability.

he was fine they just need to write sabretooth with more intelligence and not just mindless muscle

Agreed, try harder when you cast a villain with alot of dialogue, which we can all expect him to have in this movie. He's not just a brut henchman like he was in X1.

Meh. I am okay with re-casting characters, and I feel they should in this case. Well see though.....

None of us can really say much to Mane's acting ability, because the writers screwed up Sabertooth so bad in X1 they turned him into a mindless zombie. Mane didn't get a chance to show us if he could be a good Sabertooth or not.

First of all, Mane played Sabretooth how Singer wanted him to. So blame Singer. Mane deserves the benefit of the doubt that he could portray him as cunning killer.

Second of all, Jackman is 6'3" and I sure as hell do not want a repeat of X3, where the damn Juggernaut is barely an inch taller than Wolverine just so a "real" actor would play the role.

For a role like Sabretooth, whose physicality is essential, I am willing to sacrifice acting experience for 6'11' inches of height and muscle.

i liked tyler mane as sabretooth and wudnt mind if he played him again

But on the otherhand Mane hasn't been cast in a role to "act" since X1 so if he can act then we would have seen it, right? But his physical stature is perfect to fight against an unfortunately tall Hugh Jackman playing a character suppossed to be between 5 foot 3 to 5 foot 5. The only news on Tyler Mane lately is this and the fact he's playing an emotionless masked Michael Myers in the Halloween remake, in which that acting will not help us in seeing his skills.

In all, I just hope they keep options open for the Sabretooth casting.

If he's a clever and cunning assassin in the prequel how will they explain his ******ation in Singer's X-men?

A lobotomy maybe.

just that he was told by magneto to follow his orders. and if he did he wuld help sabretooth with somthing in his past maybe?!?

I don't know. How did they explain it in the comics? Sabretooth was pretty much introduced the same way but as a lackey working for Magneto rather than Mr. Sinister. He's described as all muscle and no brain... and he's not exactly the quickest of the bunch.

Maybe they could just have Wolverine poke a hole through Sabretooth's head like he's done before?

i'd rather magento has some sort of hold over him, or he made a promise to help him out with somthing in his past. so he has a reason to help him and shut up lol
