Id call it the 616 universe.

LOL!!!!!!!

Well you could do that, come on Darth humor me man what creative teams would you go with and why?

I would do the books in the order that the 616 books came out. So the Ultimate Universe would start with FF instead of Spidey. I wou;ld have the origins be pretty much the same but then allow the writers to create their own continuity. There would be no Ultimate Clone Saga or Ultimate DPS...no duplicating stories

Good ideas Roach, I kind of tire of retread stories in the Ultimate U.

Fantastic Four- Mark Waid and Cameron Stewart
Spider-Man- Dan Slott with Mike Wieringo
Avengers-Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray with Steve McNiven
X-Men-David Hine and Trevor Hairsine

Pretty much I just used who id want on regular 616 titles. Waid knows FF and would be a good guy to get the ball rolling, with Stewart on art it would be fantatsic. Dan SLott was amde for Spider-Man and Wieringo is just awesome. Avengers, I really like what Palmiotti and Gray have been doing with Uncle Sam and Jonah Hex and it would be cool to see what they could do on a big book and McNiven's art is outsatnding. X-men, a little down to earth so i chose Hine and I liked Hairsine's work on Deadly Genesis.

Ennis wouldnt agree to write The Hulk...he might do Dr. Strange, but he wouldn't do Hulk

Not bad, I'm iffy on Palmiotti and Gray nothing they have done has impressed me much accept Hex.

Dan Slott no-brainer on Spidey and Mark Waid to me is the quintessential FF writer next to Stan the man.

I don't see why not given the chance of starting from stratch and the Hulk is the least Superheroic Icon Marvel has.

Plus Garth likes the violence what better character to exercise his tendencies with?

He doesnt like superheroes...that's why he never went onto X-Men like he was originally going to, and he's never left Punisher except for Thor: Vikings

Ultimate Marvel
Six pillars of the Marvel Universe and why I chose each book and characters.

Spider-man: Represents the everyman and street level heroes of the Marvel U.

Avengers: Represents all out superheroics and earth shattering action and adventure.

Fantastic Four: Represents the unknown and sense of discovery in the Marvel U Aliens,Cosmic Gods,Parallel Dimensions!

X-Men: Represent the fear of change and paranoia of the superhuman being.

Hulk: Represents the destructive potential of superhumanity and science gone wrong.

Dr.Strange: Represents the weird and strange, supernatural events and magic.

The way I see it these six books encompass the whole of the Marvel Universe, every character and concept has a place within one of the six ongoings. I'd limit the Ultimate books to just those six and no more.

OK you see my point? Hulk technically isn't a superhero neither is Thor or Punisher there genre characters throne into a superhero world.

Thor = Fantasty/Mythology hack-n-slash high adventure!

Punisher = Pulp crime fiction/Revenge story

Hulk = Monster mash comic/Fear of science parable

This isn't beyond reason that he'd write the Hulk, especially if he was given running orders to play it 'real' or 'no limitations'.

FF for the space stuff? BLEH!!!!! There should be an Ultimate Infinity Watch to represent the cosmic aspect of the Ultimate U. Of course, it wouldn't have to beh same members as the one in the 616. The gems should still be involved, though. Maybe a new Silver Surfer that doesn't suck like the one we saw, give him the Space Gem. Nova, the Power Gem bearer and one-man-army survivor of the Nova Corps. They wouldn't have to be a team but rather protect different parts of space and eventually meet.

Hey if that's what you'd do cool.

Not my take on the UU.

I would have handled Galactus a bit differently, that's for sure. The whole Ultimate Galactus thing started out every very cool, but ended up being really anti-climactic. First off, I would have Thor knowing about Gah Lak Tus, the entity being known to Asgard. Second, I'd have gotten rid of that stupid apocalypse cult that tries to shut SHEILD down. Instead, that whole sequence would have been replaced with what we should have seen. A big mother fight between Gah Lak Tus and the Ultimates, the FF, and the X-Men. The heavy hitters of all of these teams would be atacking Gah Lak Tus' body and it's Heralds, while Reed worked on his big super nuke. Third, I would have had Reed call his doomsday weapon the Ultimate Nullifier. Finally, I'd have had one of Gah Lak Tus' heralds be stuck on Earth and become the heroic Silver Surfer.

He'd probably only do it if they let him have "no limitations" and that wouldnt fly because it would be a max book

I would leave Ultimates alone with Millar and Hitch. No need to fix what's not broken.

Ultimate F4:Mark Millar and Greg Land, their classic run was way too short

Ultimate X-Men:Ed Brubaker and Carlos Pagulayan

Ultimate Spidey:Dan Slott and JRJR
