Wolverine isnt in the Ultimates. but he's there. Prof X has jiked with Nick Fury that Wolverine is prctically on the Ultimates, but he isnt.

I am and really enjoying it, but hated how easily Hyperion owned the hell out of Thor...I hope for a rematch.

But as a fan of the ultimate universe and supreme universe, I am loving it.

I hated that to but I think what gave him the edge was when Torch went nova on him and you know Sup..... I mean Hyperion is like a battery and it just made him stronger. Since they gave him freakin 2 wins against Thor, they should let Thor knock him out just once! I'm still waiting on Cap and Nighthawk!

He hasn't beat thor twice has he?I can't remember past issues at the moment too much....but I didn't think of him being super charged from the nova thing but it makes sense....but I want to see hype vs thor in a massive battle, not a few panels...

I wanted to see wolvie vs nighthawk but cap vs nighthawk is just as good...

I'm also interested where they are going with the whole Nick witholding something angle...

Hyperion and Thor only fought oncein the series. I meant Superman has beaten Thor. Hype and Supes is the same character so now he's beaten Thor twice.

Having only seen the Ultimate Avengers animations and never read anything from the Ultimate World, I excitedly picked up the 1st issue of Ultimate Power unsure what to expect. After only getting the 5th ish last week I was very dissapointed and am quickly losing interest. I'm now considering selling my 5 issues. I don't really enjoy the dialogue and i'm definately not a fan of Ult. Thor. How could Hyperion beat him down so easy, just grabbing Mjolnir like that? Maybe the Ultimate Universe is not for me. I'm not preaching for others to stop reading the series, i'm just bored of it and felt like sharing my thoughts.

^^^ objectively most would agree that most incarnations of Thor and most incarnations of Superman should be on the same level. But it seems superman always gets the better hand. I lliked the last issue because thor at least got to hold his own, until later in the battle sequence. Also some great demonstrations of power by both of Torch and Invisible Girl. But of course superman, i mean hyperion owned them also.

In a previous issue, it was stated that Hyperion was weakened by the probe disease. Maybe the nova thing burned out the disease and this is Hyperion's true power level. In that case, i don't see how any of the Ultimates could possibly take him. With the Nick Fury angle, my guess is that

They showed Reed doing it. And Fury's whole job was to prevent another zombie scale incursion. I doubt he had the authorization to go about sending more probes, especially since they were Reed's design to begin with.

I know Reed initially sent the probes, but what if some were tampered with? Remember Ult Power #4 when Kitty walked in on this convo

very true, it's a possibilty.. maybe the whole alternate universe thing puts a spin on it too! Or maybe Hyperion is just worthy of wielding the hammer?

hyperion is insanly powerful,almost more then 616 thor,he had to get alot weaker to be on thors level.Hulk lifted mjolnir,its not a major deal in the ultimate universe.

Buy it in trades. I think vol. 2 is out in a couple of months. If you can stand the wait, I recommend it.
