The problem with the Symbiote is that EVERY time since the 90's cartoon it's been a VERY quick turnaround from getting the suit to it trying to take over.
They should spend a whole 2 story arcs before any weird influence is felt, then another where pete begins to "cut loose" and then a final arc with him going out of control and then getting rid of the suit.

I'm reading the Ultimate Spider-man through for the first time (in the Volumes, not single issues). I know, I know. What took me so long?

Anyways, I just finished the Carnage storyline....have to say, I did not like how they changed Carnage up at all. Huge disservice to the character IMO.

Just started the "Superstars" (Vol. 12). And the whole deal with Wolverine & Spider-man switching bodies was really dumb.

But other than that, I like what I've read so far.

Well, except for Spider-Man 3 and the Spectacular Spider-man. Which are the other two adaptations of the symbiote arc.
