I hadn't heard that
could be awesome, but I get the feeling it will be a Thor-getting-beat-up-to-show-how-powerful-Vison-is scenario

so, Thor's job, basically

I wouldn't really be impressed by that because we really haven't seen Thor do many powerful things either.

Well Vision probably fights them all, just the Thor Vision fight was the one they were shooting at the time.

does marvel ever have someone just destroy hulk to show how powerful a new character is? From my experience, it seems like Marvel is hesitant to show hulk lose a fight

Thor has never gotten beat up by anyone other than Kurse. The fights with Hulk and Iron Man ended before there was a "winner."

There is no need to be paranoid. The fight is going to be epic.

In a way I'm excited about Thor vs Vision, then again I'm not because hero vs hero battles are always gonna end in a draw. There was an epic Thor vs Vision fight in season two of A:EMH, Thor was IM's bodyguard and all Vision could do was stall him.

That would be an angle that I would like to see, Ultron sending Vision to stall one of The Avengers' powerhouses while he faces the rest.

I was referencing the comics more than the films
it's his job in the comics to get his ass kicked showing how powerful new villain guy is, it happens pretty much monthly in the assorted Avengers comics.
And I have no doubt it'll be epic

Iron Man vs The Vision on the big screen, in live action? that alone deserves a purchase of a ticket! :D this is going to be a cinematic treat :D

What kind of changes have Thor's costume undergone between each movie? I thought he always wore the same costume from the first Thor movie.

Nope, his suits in TA & TDW were sleeveless and had less armor, whereas his suit in the first Thor was full on armor & had a little more of an elaborate design. Between TA & TDW his suit didn't have any major changes IIRC.

Let's make it simple:

I didn't like the leather biker pants look in The Avengers, I much prefer TDW and AOU more medieval chain mail pants look.

Hulk loses fights all the time. Its just that no one reads Hulk comics so they base all there Options on vague assumption.

interesting, thanks. All I usually see are fanboys saying nobody can beat him

TDW is by far Thor's best costume, followed by the sleeveless outfit in TA, and his outfit in Thor.

Wouldn't it be cool if Vision increased his density and spiked Thor into the ground like in their fight on EMH.

Some surprisingly cool news concerning Hemsworth and the Avengers (more so Hems then the Avengers). Fandango did a fan poll concerning their fan favorite actor for the upcoming year of 2015 and most anticipated movie for 2015. Chris came in 2nd among all the actors in all the movies coming out next year. Pretty big gain for a one time unknown actor playing an unknown hero……I'd say both Chris and Thor are starting to be big time stars……….hopefully Marvel will take advantage of his gaining popularity.

Fan Favorite Actor in 2015 Movies:
1. Robert Downey, Jr. ("Avengers: Age of Ultron")
2. Chris Hemsworth ("Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Blackhat," and "In the Heart of the Sea")
3. Daniel Craig ("Spectre")
4. Chris Pratt ("Jurassic World")
5. Tom Cruise ("Mission Impossible 5")

Most Anticipated 2015 Movie:

1. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"
2. "Avengers: Age of Ultron"
3. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2"
4. "Fifty Shades of Grey"
5. "Jurassic World"

That is cool, good for Hemsworth! He's been doing a great job of balancing his roles so as not to be typecast as just a buff action star. I hope his rising star helps attract a great director for Thor: Ragnarok.

Thor is just more visible as a jobber because he's historically more of a team player than the Hulk. Which means whenever the Avengers go up against a new opponent it's usually Thor or Wonder Man who gets put through a wall to show how powerful the baddie is.

I don't mind Thor getting slapped around a bit, but he shouldn't be tossed around again. I kind of want him to have an "I have had enough of machines" type moment like in EMH.
