Unanswered questions

Luke presumably went back home to his mother after Sylar spared and dismissed him. Or maybe he became a prostitute and lived on the streets. I don't know. Since Luke was never that important of a character, it's pretty irrelevant to the story, in my opinion.

Yeah, he really wasn't that important but they just kinda dumped his character.

Luke's the roadtrip buddy Sylar had with him for a while then?

When the big event happens on season 3's finale, why didn't they use Claire's blood to bring him back from the dead, like they did for Noah?

Is it just me, or has Sylar absorbed the same telekinetic power 3 times? Both of his first kills were telekinetics, and then he absorbs Clint Howard too.

Because the writers are bad writers. They established the healing blood earlier in the series without regard for the consequences to future storylines. Now that they want someone to actually stay dead, they and the characters they write are forced to act as if the healing blood doesn't exist. It's pathetic.

As a result, I think Angela and Bennet, two of the smarter characters on the show, look like complete morons. Yes, Angela, someone who has been working closely with people with powers for decades and desperately wants her son alive again (so much so that she has his murderer brainwashed into replacing him) conveniently forgets that Claire's blood can bring back the dead. Bennet apparently forgot too, even though the damn blood was used on him.

The ultimate question: What happened to this show?

The best way to watch Heroes is to expect no sense out of the stories (ie healing blood) and just go with whatever happens. I for one think the Nathan death and the Sylar thing was cool even though it makes no sense.

Unfortunately for me I can't quit things I've already started, it's really hard to do so I'm forced by my own self to stay with Heroes :(

Just watch it for what it is and the more nitpicking you do the more frustrated and irritated you'll become.

For me, stories have to make sense, otherwise I get severely irritated. It's just how I am. I can't turn it off. I feel like if the writers want me to go on this journey through their story, the least they can do is have it make sense. It's really not hard. I think I just have very high standards when it comes to internal consistency, and I don't think I am willing to lower them for any show. Also, the more I like a show in the beginning, the harder I am on the show when it comes to this stuff. I really, really liked Heroes, once upon a time. That's why I have no problem ripping it to shreds now that I think it's taken a bad turn.

It was a good twist at the end of the last volume but they should of explained some things. They should of kept Claire somewhere distant at the time so the "healing blood" not being used wouldn't distract people that can actully watch a show and remember past episodes. Also , Sylar flying?

i also think they kinda changed Angela Petrelli's powers. Maybe im wrong here but they basically made her look like she had a power of persuasion or something in the first few seasons, then suddenly it turned into this dream power crappola.

This is where I will defend the show. I don't think they ever intended Angela to have a persuasion power. I think there were too many fans reading too much into things. First off, she was never that persuasive. No one ever listened to her for long, so if she was supposed to have persuasion, the writers failed to ever have her be very successful.

Second, a lot of people made a big deal about Angela getting close to Nathan's wife, Heidi, and putting her hands all over her when she was trying to get Heidi to keep her mouth shut concerning the stuff Nathan said to her after the explosion, but all that touching was never in the script. It was improvised by the actress who plays Angela and the director of that episode. It was never a part of any power.

She always struck me as someone who was just very good at manipulating people, but not through the use of any superpower. If her power was ever persuasion, she should have been much better at it. That doesn't mean I think they originally intended to give Angela the dream power though. I think Angela was not supposed to be that major of a character in the beginning, but then the actress and character became popular. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave her the dream power as an afterthought.

I actually think they did intend on her having the precognitive dreaming power because back in season 1 Peter said that he dreamed Nathan getting in the car crash and when he woke up he got the call that he was in a car crash. This makes sense because this was the first ability that Peter absorbed, and it obviously came from Angela.

I remember Peter's early dreams, and you may be right. I could see it going either way. I think the writers sometimes throw ideas into the show without having a clear idea where they are going. Basically, I'm not inclined to give the writers the benefit of the doubt.

Either way, I am confident the writers never intended for Angela to have the power of persuasion.

I have a question. I just recently re-watched the episode "Company Man", definitely one the best episodes of the show but there's one glaring problem. Right after Ted blows up the house in his nuclear meltdown, we see Claire walk outside in front of the whole freaking neighborhood, and she's healing from her burn wounds...in FRONT OF EVERYONE. My question is how did none of the people watching this say anything?? Claire walked outside brunt to a crisp and healed in front of a bunch of people? Did Noah erase all their memories or something?

Lol did it actually show the people watching? Maybe they were distracted by the flaming/destroyed house.

It does, look for a clip of it online, there are clearly people in the background watching claire emerge from the house healing from her burn wounds.
