Universal releasing Watchmen in Europe

I've just found out that Universal Pictures is releasing Watchmen in European territories, including Germany and Netherlands.

Strange, isn't it?

Basically, that's what probably happened. When the rights got back to Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures probably kept the Int'l distribution rights. And Paramount Pictures' flicks are distributed by Universal in Europe. You can close the thread if you want!
