Why not atleast wait to see what said movies are going to be like before you decide to see them or not?
For instance, for all we know, the Spider-Man reboot could be a fantastic movie and bring a whole new way of approaching the characters. However much you loved Raimi's films, it doesn't for a second mean there isn't another director who can make a good Spidey film.
Anyway, I am completely dumbfounded that a Jonah Hex movie has been made. Not only because he is an obscure character, not only because it's a western and not a superhero movie, not only because the character has no cinematic appeal whatsoever, but because the film itself looks lie a completely unispired, by the numbers straight-to-DVD yawn-fest. It looks cheap and dull and I would bet good money on it being a flop.
Wether it's coming out next year or not
For me:
Batman 3
Spiderman reboot
The Green Hornet
X-Men:First Class
I'm going to boycott 1,2,and 4. I've never boycotted a comic book movie in my life.
Why on earth would make a thread that incites negativity like this?
Captain America. Everything I've heard about it has been bad so far. From the main actor to the inclusion of Bucky.

I don't understand how someone could say Nolan's batman films are bad. I'm just not seeing it . I could understand if you don't like it but they are so far from actually being bad movies. Especially if you consider the characters many interpretations and how some of them have been so campy in the past.
IMO TDK was a good crime movie but its a terrible Batman film

Agreed, unlike Nolan's Batman, the other Batmans sounded good, had a better looking mask that didn't make them look like they had too wide of the head, and were more intelligent and untouchable compared to Nolan's Batman. His is just so damn pervasively torture like imo. Oh and of course Batman in the other Batman movies at least didn't contemplate giving up being Batman just because some bad guy wanted to kill off innocent people,Batman to me is someone who takes risks, not one who dodges them.

No offense, but I'm calling bull s*** here. I can't see any comic book fan boycotting a Batman, Spider-Man, and X-Men movie. Even if your fanboy side doesn't urge you to see them, your curiosity above anything else will compel you to see them. Especially if the fan reaction to them is positive.
Ummm Batman has contemplated giving up in the comics several times. Even handing over the mantle to someone else for good (Azrael, until he turned psycho).
Even in the fan favorite Mask of the Phantasm, Bruce was considering giving up being Batman when Andrea came back into his life again, and Alfred supported his decision.
And I fail to see how Nolan's Batman is somehow less intelligent than the others. I never saw Nolan's Batman taking his mask off in front of a villain ala Keaton in Returns in front of Schreck.

I know Batman did all of that stuff in the comics,I just take that kind of issue in the movie universe.
And two,I honestly don't think much of the Spiderman, new Batman movies,or the X-Men movies for that matter. I've never been a big fan of them because of their direction, not even close.
I'm not a blind fan of Batman,Spiderman, and the X-Men. Especially Spiderman.
But the thing is that Selina knew that Bruce is Batman before that, she even acknowledged that she knew,so it only was only semi stupid for him to take off the mask and was at least done for a reason despite that. "Not as dark as your's Bruce.".
True he did,but that only happened because Dick saved him.
