Man of Steel first of all. I really hope I won't be underwhelmed this time.

Then of course Iron Man 3 and The Wolverine will be interesting. Thor 2 as well.

Sin City 2 and Kick Ass 2 don't need sequels IMHO, but I prolly watch them anyway.

I think Kick-Ass deserves a sequel, but I do agree that there shouldn't be a Sin City 2. Sin City felt perfect as a solo film.

I think every SH/CB movie deserves a sequel if it makes enough money, lets face it there is more than enough in the comics to serve future movies of any CB franchise.

Easily, Man of Steel wins the anticipation award from me. I am also eagerly hopeful for Iron Man 3, but I've never had the satisfaction of watching a truly awesome Superman movie. 'Superman: The Movie' was great, but it's held back by the technology of the day and the fact that Superman's world has matured and changed in comics since 1978, and 'Superman Returns' was a frustrating reminder of that. With MOS I'm hoping we'll get the epic, up-to-date saga we all deserve.

Fingers crossed. Now bring on MAN of STEEL!

Well I loved the new MOS trailer, really liking what they are doing with the movie and it looks to have nailed the character, so that is still easily top of my most anticipated list.

Obviously Man of Steel, always been a bigger fan of DC. Their films are double or nothing, Marvel films are more predictable. Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 will be entertaining, but I know what I'm getting. Man of Steel? Not so much.

Definitely not going to see The Wolverine at the theaters, unless it gets shockingly good reviews. Yeah right. Tired of "Hugh Jackman and the X-Men"

IM3 and then Thor2. I'll see MoS but I've never been a DC guy and I never will be so it's not high on my radar.

Agree about Marvel movies, you know they are going to be entertaining and fun and not much else, although it seems they willing to take more risks than they used too.

MOS just has the potential to be amazing though, and I really hope it is.

btw, pretty shocked that 9 people look more forward to the Wolverine, than Man of Steel and the MCU films, as well as Kick Ass and Sin City..

From what we've been hearing, the Wolverine has been sounding good. Not to mention the teaser posters looks great and X-Men FC put some faith back in the X-Men series.

^Yep, plus Mangold is a good director and its a script from McQuarrie, not to mention Fox dont meddle any near as much as they used too since Rothman left. I can see why people are looking forward to it, I am myself.

I thought X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a decent movie. Not as good as X2 and FC.

I think Rothman started to learn from his mistakes toward the end of his time at Fox anyway.

Well yeah, for me The A-Team and Predators were the start of Fox getting back on track, both I really enjoyed and they were the first Fox Blockbusters I had enjoyed for a long time, they have released some great movies since then.

Agreed, I enjoyed those, both the kind of films I usually don't like, for what they were. Putting Predators on an alien planet made everything a lot more interesting. A-Team was Expendables, just much less horrible. Can definitely see a change for the positive around the 2009/2010 period.

Never been much of a Superman fan, but gotta admit the trailer looked pretty good. With the Mandarin in there, Iron Man 3 should be full of all kinds of win. Sin City's great, read all the books, so can't wait for that. But Thor: The Dark World takes the cake for me. Loved the first one, will love the second one. Can't wait to see Malekith, Kurse, and more of the other realms. The one realm I wish they'd show that I haven't heard anything about yet though is Nedavellir. Man to see the Dwarf King would be awesomesauce! The others I'll honestly probably pass on til I can watch em for free.

The Wolverine
Thor 2
IM3 & MOS
Kick-Ass 2

Probably in that order.

how is Snyder hit or miss ?

Dawn of the Dead : best horror movie remake to date, badass film.
Watchmen : kick ass film, great adaptation, very hard project, he nailed it
300 : extreamly accurate to the comic book, very fun movie.
Legend of the Guardians : the only film that gave me the LOTR feel one more time. it was awesome !

you keep bashing Snyder for just 1 film, Sucker Punch. come on !

on topic : 1) Man of Steel
2) The Wolverine
3) Sin City 2

i really dont care about Iron Man 3, i think im gonna see something ive already seen. with Tony being more like Riggs than Tony Stark. and Thor 2 ? yeah i kinda want to see that but it will no longer feel like a shakespearian story with Marvel characters. Brannagh is out.

order of anticipation:

Man of Steel

Iron Man 3

Thor 2

Kick Ass 2

Sin City 2

Wolverine

GI Joe 2

Iron Man 3, followed by Man of Steel, Thor 2, and Wolverine. Even though I really enjoyed Kick-Ass and Sin City, I'm not too keen on their sequels; the first movies just felt really complete to me. I'll check them out regardless.

Iron Man 3
The Wolverine
Thor

Oh gosh, it's a good 5 years for us comic book nerds :woot:

Can't see how Snyder is 'hit and miss' either. zo be 'hit and miss' suggests he has hit at least one time. didn't happen so far. two of the worst comic book adaptations were directed by him and his pornrape fantasy (whatever it was called) was even worse
