As long as they get rid of Gargan Venom, I'm in. I can't stand the new venom, i hate his new look and Gargan is nowhere near the complexity of Eddie Brock. Even if Eddie doesnt get the suit back, just get it off Gargan please.

Uh...that's what this story is about: Norman taking the Thunderbolts to NYC to hunt Spidey.

That could work out very well if you ask me. I mean, "The Last Temptation of Eddie Borck" was fantastic, so I'm a bit curious as to how Brock will act in this story since "The Last Temptation of Eddie Brock" happened.

I agree, Venom 1988. I've been a fan of Venom for such a long time, even when the going got rough. I've been wanting to return to reading 616 comics.

I was really hoping the TB/Pete showdown would be more of a sinister six type clash, but it seems less so here. I would so much rather have that in TB that ASM. Especially since I read TB.

I was hoping for exactly what you are thinking with the TB/Spidey story.

Yeah if you look at the respect given to U listers like steel spider and american eagle, a Spider-Man in TB would just be so epic.

But with the story we'll probably get will be Brock/Anti-Venom teaming with Pete against the TBs. Still it's a shame I'll be turning away a Slott written Norman Osborn, though that's made easier by Spring Symbiote Extravaganza 08.
