Drama USA_White Collar Series Thread

Mekhi's Collins is a serious *****ebag. Lol.

Loved the season premiere. Although Peter being all mushy with Neal was weird to see.

I like how they got back to New York but then threw a curve ball at Peter, plus I think Neal and Peter investigating what really happened with Neal's father is going to be intriguing.

This weeks plot was slick and I think they can incorporate Peter's new gig into some good cases.

Next weeks looks great. :D

I hope Peter's new gig will be resolved quickly as it would get really old, really fast.

This last episode really solidifies how smart both Peter and Neal are. Neal really can't do anything that will go over Peter, but Neal is so good, that while Peter knows what's up, Peter can't tell if he got conned or if Neal is actually being honest.

I've always loved that dynamic between Neal and Peter as well.

id like to think Neal was truthful with peter because its really the only thing he has in ny beside moz.

he wanted to go peters route to show he trusts and believes in him. least I would hope.

I enjoyed this weeks stand alone ep, it had some nice insight into Mozzie and I always enjoy mysteries linked to history.

Season 5 starts on Thursday!

I like the new dynamic between Neal and Warren Cole as his new handler, I also think the fact Neal is now beholding to the Dutchman is going to lead to some cool heists.

The Mozzie storyline from last weeks ep was fun, especially the stuff with him and Dianna and him dressed as the Statue of Liberty. :D

Great episode this week, the heist was quality and the ending was a real shocker, I had a feeling Segal might be following Neal but I didn't expect him to end up dead. I think Bridget Reagan's character will come back in to help Mozzie and Neal decode the chapter 13.

That sucks what happened to Segal. I liked the guy even though he may have been playing Neal.

Yeah, red head is coming back. She can't leave til Neal hits it. :woot:

Yeah, I was enjoying his dynamic with Neal, but I guess they needed a way to get back top Peter and Neal working together, and it was certainly a shocker the way they played it.

Oh without a doubt, she's gorgeous. :woot:

The only thing I don't like about Bridget Regan's character in this show is she likely won't get to show how much of an ass-kicker she can be.

I'm not sure how I feel about Neil's apparent new arc. Another "dark side" relapse isn't exactly new territory for the character. Also, part of me was really bummed they didn't play out Peter being on the wrong side of the law thing. It would have been interested to see Neil break Peter out of prison and both of them being fugitives and trying to clear Peter's name. Having Peter be on the run and having to do some more shady activities would have been an interesting game changer for his character.

Yeah I wasn't keen on that either, it felt like another retread as if Neal just goes in a circle. I would rather they concentrated on finding out who killed Segal.

Exactly. It just doesn't feel new. And it didn't seem to fit. Neil suddenly declaring that he didn't feel bad when he stole things from Peter/lied to him etc. That contradicts everything he's done over the past three seasons, and all the growth he's had. It even contradicts why he got in with the Dutchman this season. If he really didn't care, and didn't feel guilt, he would have left Peter in prison.

His little crime relapse would be more interesting if it was something we haven't seen in a long time. But he goes through it every season. So it's nothing new and just boring at this point.

Be better if he truly changed and was finished with that life. Would make all the blackmail from Hagen even more interesting knowing Neal doesn't want to do that stuff anymore.

Yep, it's dangerously close to falling into the circular rut that shows like Burn Notice and The Mentalist got in, where they are too afraid to evolve from their formula.

Exactly. That was why I was hoping we'd get a Peter on the run arc. It would have been an interesting twist to his character to force him into situations where he had to operate outside the law and become a fugitive. Instead of this, they're going back, once again, to the old status quo.

I think that would have been interesting as well, give Peter a chance to see things from the other side of the chase. The only reason I can think that they didn't do that is it's not that long ago that Neal was on the run in a similar situation, having said that they don't seem to have any issues with rehashing Neal's character conflict.

Fun episode this week, reminded me of season one.

Elizabeth. :hrt:

Something is not right about Rebecca. I've been hoping that she & Neal would be a legit couple. But the way she accepted Neal's lies was too easy. Then last night she really wanted to be in on the heist. Something ain't right with that ridiculous hot red head of a woman. :wow::hrt:

I've been thinking the same thing, super pretty, smart, killer smile, understanding? Just to good to be true! :( I don't think she is the big surprise they teased for the next ep though even though I think she'll be revealed to be working with Hagen and hasn't really been kidnapped.

Peter was a dick to Neal in the last episode, there's only so far you can go with the holier than thou approach, I mean would he prefer to still have his job and go home every night to sleep with his beautiful wife, or be stuck sleeping in a cell with Zod knows what kind of scumbag and dodging shower rape every morning.
