I read i nthe official Supernatural magazine Kripke said he wanted the show to only run 5 season cause he didn't want it to be one of those shows that drags on with unneeded storylines. He said he had the story lined up to season 5.

I don't know how true that is but that was from the man himself so who knows maybe his mind has changed sicne.

I'm cool with 5 seasons and seeing how this isn't exactly a ratings powerhouse, I'm sure the CW wouldn't pressure Kripke to keep things going longer. Pissed that Katie Cassidy was let go, especially since it was only because of the budget, she was great in that role.

Well considering both female characters tracked poorly among the viewership...you all have to realize that about 55-60 percent of the viewership for this show is female....so if the audience doesn't like certain characters, they aren't going to watch....

Bela tracked horribly and most viewers were lukewarm about Ruby

My sister has an unhealthy love for Jensen Ackles (Dean) and she hated Bela...she was ok with Ruby...

I preferred Bela to Ruby, but I always prefer the villains to the heroes.

They tried to absolve Bela in the end, showing that her dad or someone bad touched her, like it was supposed to justify her being a total wank

It worked for me lol nah I saw it as more complicated than that, Lilith did her dirty work and got rid of Bela's dad (who deserved to die) but from then on she realised it wasn't worth it, she wanted to live, so she went round trying to do everything possible to break her deal, at all costs even if it meant screwing over everyone else.

It worked for me lol nah I saw it as more complicated than that, Lilith did her dirty work and got rid of Bela's dad (who deserved to die) but from then on she realised it wasn't worth it, she wanted to live, so she went round trying to do everything possible to break her deal, at all costs even if it meant screwing over everyone else.

Dean is in purgatory, by what Hell has been described like, it was nothing like what we saw. I'm kind of disappointed we didn't get to see the demons faces of the Hellhounds.

I'm pretty sure that's not purgatory. If you remember in "Malleus Magnifericum" (or however you spell that ****) Ruby said to Dean "Hellraiser" came quite close to depicting Hell.

One of the writers said it's not officially purgatory, more like a waiting room to hell, but it's not actually hell.

And it's Malleus Maleficarum.
