On April 27, 2008, Boll responded to Bay's "not caring about Boll" comment. "To prove who is the better director", Boll offered to challenge Bay to a boxing match at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. If Bay accepted, the match would last for 12 rounds and would take place in September.[citation needed] In response to Boll's comments, Bay again posted a statement, this time saying:

I never even heard his name till last week when he made threats and rants. The guy is a ****ing idiot, making threats to me, Clooney, Eli Roth, says he has a doctorate—but uses the word "******" in his vocabulary, come on. When you look at his videos, what is interesting are the backgrounds. I guess his low rent offices, with 15 year old 3/4 machines, archaic computers, this is just some dumb chump trying to get some fame when he has none, so he has to make YouTube lame quality anger rants. I think Boll tricked a bunch of soccer dads at Blockbuster into believing they were renting something awesome based on the cool DVD covers, and then they popped it in at home and went, "...Oh." 500,000 dads later at $2.50 a pop, and Boll is rich.

I think that time is mostly over now. People look stuff up.

The only scheme currently still working is all the grandmas accidentally buying The Asylum movies for Little Johnny on Christmas because they swore he asked for "Transmorphers: Age of the Dawn" and "Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Public Domain" and "Furious Cars and Fast Bikes".

Those MillCreek 50-movie packs are mostly gone too. "50 movies for $10! So much value!", and it's like, worse than VHS quality. You can't even sit through one of them.

That's where Boll's point about Hollywood being a business to make money is completely lost. That's exactly what he's doing. He's like a magician whose tricks you figure out after 5 seconds. You fooled the audience 10 years ago, but we know you're using wires to fly at this point.

This is hilarious. btw, F U Mr. Boll, back in the day I was a fan of the Bloodrayne videogame series and had a crush on Kristanna Loken, and he managed to ruin both of them in that terrible movie and equally terrible sequels. (I saw the first one, not the sequels, but I assume they sucked just as bad)

So yeah, thank goodness he's not going to be ruining anything else anymore

Glad I'm clueless enough about Hollywood and it's goings on that I don't know who this crazy guy is. I think I may have accidentally watched 5 minutes of one of his BloodRayne movies that happened to be on The Movie Channel one night. And all I remember of that very brief viewing was how incredibly corny it was. Like to the point where you actually feel embarrassed for anybody involved in the process of the performance. Dude seems like a complete tool.
