At least its network scifi, dont get much of that.

I think the roles are engaging enough and my wife even has gotten into the show which says a lot cuz she hates scifi.
 
I nodded off half-way through Red Rain though I was enjoying what I saw and hope to watch it in full online. It's not a perfect show, but what is. It's decent, network TV sci-fi, and its cool to see a genre show headed by two women, particularly Morena Baccarin.

One thing that continues to irk me though is why the aliens call themselves "V's" among themselves. It would be cool to give them a species name. I believe in the original miniseries, they were called Sirians in the novels. I wish they would canonize that it for the new show or name them something else. I also wouldn't mind hearing Anna's 'real' name.

Thanks to the poster who showed the USA shot of the aliens in their true form. I wasn't too impressed with the reveal last night but seeing the creature it its full glory is better. However, I wish it had a more reptilian/dinosaur body and a thicker, fuller tail.
 
I like not knowing their actual name (if they even have one)...maybe thats just me
 
i thought it was a good episode but Anna continues her campaign for mother of the year (sarcasm) by pushing her daughter into teen sex,killing her babies because they made her feel,ohh then killing herr captain to prove a point not forgetting to mention,baby kidnapping plus keeping her mom locked up in a prison and still be a hot smoking milf. This is why i love her she is the most ruthless villain on tv today hands down. i am in awe of her awesome displays of villainy only thingcoming close are the serial killers on criminal minds.

The premiere was excellent. Better than most of the first season episodes, from what I remember.

Father Jack is the only human character I actually really like, though. If been a fan of the actor since I first saw him on The 4400.

I'm more a fan of the characterizations of the Visitors. Anna, Markus, and Joshua mainly.
 
Loved this episode, can't wait for next week.
And was that the original Diana playing Anna's mom?!?!?!?

Funny thing-my gf's mom has been staying with us the last few weeks to help us get settled with the baby, and I came in all set to find out if V even recorded-she was already starting it up. I never expected this 63-year-old woman to be a fan of the Lizards.
