I saw it for free when it came out, IN the theater.

I still occasionally hum the opening song.

Also, it was Nothing like 8Mile. He was already at the height of his powers at the begining of the story and just got stranded in a small town when his bullet bike broke down.
8Mile was more like a Rocky story.
