Venom and the finale

Toby has expressed how the best stories have been exhausted, and it may be difficult at this point to continue the series. From this, it seems that the ending of spiderman 3 will provide a solid conclusion with no holes. If Venom then is introduced in the movie, will he be killed in SM3? The producer's comments seem to suggest that there is no way the trilogy can end with a vengeful Venom hoping to kill parker.

Perhaps if Venom is not killed, he will somehow befriend Spidey at the end.

Thoughts?

Maybe, they'll make a spinoff movie of venom. Something like elektra..we'll not exactly like that but the idea.

Man, the wrath of the Vets has been called upon thee...

It would be really cool if they made a spinoff, but I doubt it. I really hope, as many of the others here do, that Tobey returns. But if he doesn't, then maybe a Venom spinoff isn't such a bad idea...

You know, this is a valid thread and I agree.

However, there are those that are out there, that will tear this thread apart, filling with nonsense. Since it's such a touchy subject amongst a select few.

I'm going to the bunker.

For movie purposes and for sake of conclusions/continuity.... Venom needs to be the embodiment of evil and needs to die, even if the symbiote doesn't die directly.

I'm saying that in regards to there not being a spider-man 4, because I honestly think the series will go downhill after this given that venom is ultimatly spider-man's ultimate threat (in my opinion).

Aunt may has lived too long, and mary jane needs to stop getting kidnapped (getting very old). Peter and MJ need to get married, just end the trilogy and complete the masterpiece.

revisit sometime in the future, ala spider-man begins. I agree w/ tobey, all of spider-man's character and internal conflict has arleady been established in the movies, the only real purpose of the following ones would be for super cool special effects.

Unlike X-men which supports a universe of characters that can be killed/exchanged etc... with each movie, spider-man is one man, and because he's the only one, he's allowed more screentime, personal character bonding, and identification.

if eddie lives, then he will get put in jail, if he dies, then venom wont return, if brock lives, i would love to see him in a further sequal.

Maybe they can hold hands, walk down to the soda shop and get chocolate malteds. Then maybe Spidey will let Venom get to 2nd base...

Or maybe...

Just maybe....

SOMEONE WILL PUT A STOP TO ALL THESE ABSURD, USELESS, REPETITIVE, AND ILL-CONCEIVED n00b THREADS!!!!:cmad:

Eh, probably not!:whatever:

Venom will die,and the spidey franchise will continue to make more movies with other villains.

No way Spidey lets Venom get to 2nd Base on the first date.

Unless Venom buys him dinner and some chocolates, then maybe.

Cheers.

How would they make a valid Venom spinoff anyways? Having Venom as the main character against other villians would be dumb IMO.

^Exactly, the characer wouldn't be good in his own spinoff as some people think.

i dont think a venom spinoff is very valid, it would be purely a fan pleasing money maker.......personally

Well the Q&A says that Eddie Brock will be defeated in this movie and since sequels haven't been confirmed, he probably won't have any cliffhangers... unless, of course, if Sony pulls off a Ratner.

They said Eddie Brock dies and [BLACKOUT]the symbiote lives[/BLACKOUT], take it as you will.

Yeahm and him dying pretty much means that he'll be defeated.

Of course the theory is extremely unlikely, though consider how it would be consistent with the comics. Spidey does in fact join Venom to fight Carnage further in the story, as dictated by the comics, and thus such a development would not be completely absurd.

It seems though that they can create a classic "it lives" scene, when brock dies or is imprisoned and the symbiote escapes.

I seriously don't think it's a very good idea to kill off sandman, venom and harry in one film. Brock can be defeated but not necessarily end up being killed. After all, in the previous films both villains die. I doubt Eddie will die in this movie since Venom doesn't appear until later in the film.

I just don't understand having Venom for ten minutes to be killed....... but its only a movie after all

You will see how it is the best thing for Venom to die in this movie.
