Or so some rumour say, what do you think of that idea?

I am not too keen on this. If he isn't the main/thinking villain, it would already be much better...

Wasn't she only working with the bad guys in CR to protect her boyfriend? So...the villain thing may be kinda moot

Yeah, the official word from Eva Green is that her Algerian boyfriend will show up as a villain in BOND 22. I believe Barbara Broccoli also said something to that effect.

Well the said this is a DIRECT SEQUEL to CR, so there are things to still be resolved from CR. The Algerian bf thing is a good route to go.....

Thought of something: Perhaps the Unnamed Organization tells Unnamed Boyfriend that James Bond (or someone to the effect) is responsible for Vesper's death, causing him to join said organization, as it would be the only way for him to get revenge. This would work best if they went the SMERSH angle, as it's name means Death to Spies.

Nah, I don't think that's where they're going. There was line in an earlier draft of the CASINO ROYALE script that dealt with this, suggesting that her Algerian boyfriend was in on it from the very beginning, and that Vesper was ultimately fighting for a man who had betrayed her from the start. The line was cut, undoubtedly so that the revelation in BOND 22 would be more of a surprise.

I'm not sure I like that angle, but it might work.

It will probably be an interesting device so the presence of Vesper is still felt perhaps.

I jsut hope the Algerian boyfriend is not the leader of the organisation. Bond abdguys have been too young in Brosnan's movies.

Or they go the classic SPECTRE angle and Vespers boyfriend is Ernst Stavro Blofeld...:woot:

I just really love the idea that this one will be a direct sequel.

Same here. In the other Bond films, they practically ignore everything that's happened in the previous films. With this route, we'll at least have some continuity and the films will be more related to each other.

Dude, that's gross. Earnst is all wrinkly and old, I find it hard to believe that Vesper would fall for him!

I'd like the organization to be Smersh, and maybe in one of the later movies, Earnst Blofeld could be shown in Smersh, but leaving to form his own evil group. (Which of course would turn out to be SPECTER)

oh yeah they cant use blofeld now coz of those damn rights
