love it, manhattan, all CG, awesome
incredible

50 ft Dr. Manhattan looks fantastic! A little "CGI-y," but I'm still hopeful.

Because before CGI we never saw giant people on screen, right?Yeah, man. He looks nothing like a REAL giant naked glowing blue man. They should've just filmed a real giant naked glowing blue man instead of using that stupid CGI!
a very smart post.Manhattan looks excellent. I think the glow was a clever choice; it excuses the computer rendering. We all know that CG-rendered humans have an odd look about them--maybe something is a little too shiny or a little too smooth--but adding the glow to Manhattan makes these imperfections seem like a result of his condition, not imperfect rendering. Or, in other words, the unreal qualities that plague CGI become appropriate, because Manhattan is unreal.
The close up of his face looked especially fantastic.
If it isn't normal, then I don't mind being abnormal. Is it normal for a man to cry after watching the latest video? It's beautiful. Rorschach and a fully rendered Dr. Manhattan!

yeah.. a bit early to start *****ing about it
Re: The CGI. If this is all we get, I don't care. This is a man who put himself back together as a glowing demigod. Looking less than "everyday" just doesn't bother me. Whose to say what kinds of materials he's made of, etc?
Do you seriously think the last few seconds are from the complete, finished movie? It looks like preliminary graphics, just compare it to the shots of the Doc from the trailer.
No one's *****ing about Osterman imploding or the Owl-Ship coming out of the water.. whatever :whatever.. Too early, unfinished fx, and so on.. I love the teaser--in fact, I'm gonna watch it right nowThough Mercurius has already started. And he seems to be the only one.
