BvS Villain Thread---Who will the other villain(s) be in BvS? Give it a guess!

Please good gracious, anything besides Doomsday. I LOVE the Death of a Superman story; so much so, that I'd hate to see it wasted. I say, Superman's death would be the perfect time to recast the character. Wait till Cavil has gone a few rounds; then, on the last movie of his contract, kill him off. If he wants to re-sign, great. If not, audiences will accept that the reborn Superman is played by another actor.
Metallo is so perfect for this. He's a creation of man. He serves as the gateway for sci-fi technology in future films. He could serve as a personal consequence for the destruction of MOS, teaching Superman a lesson. He introduces Kryptonite. It fits so well here. Let's not pull out all the stops on the second movie. Plenty of lesser villains to keep us occupied before Doomsday.

the conflict at the end of BvS would only be at the end. It has to be something that draws in Wonder Woman. There's nothing better than Darkseid's parademons making an initial breach into Earth in their attempt to get to Olympus.

Also, it's not Justice League 2. It's Justice League Part 2.

Yeah I'm not a fan of that idea, i think it'd be drawn out for too long.

One Darkseid vs Justice League movie is enough. i want to see Brainiac, Darkseid, and the Legion of Doom against the JL.

also, JL part 2 is only a temporary title, i'm sure it will be changed eventually, so it doesn't really matter if we call it Justice League 2 or Justice League Part 2.

I guess with El's news that he's ready to call Doomsday official, people are really beginning to switch over. I'm ok with Doomsday, but why couldn't we have Metallo as well?

Justice League 2, Justice League Part 2, same thing...if 2 was a direct continuation of Justice League 1, wouldn't it come out directly after JL1, instead of two years later?

I think JL2 will be as much of a direct continuation of the solo films in between JL1 and 2, as it is a continuation of the first JL film.

I'll put on my cynical hat for a second. In my mind, no fan would choose to use Doomsday this early. If he's in this film, then my feeling is because WB knew that he's a popular character and they wanted to ensure a good pay day. If that's the case, it doesn't bode well for this movie at all.
The title alone feels like WB interference, and if that's how this movie is being written, then history says there's no better way to kill a good story. Their first and only concern should be making a good film, and I just don't see how Doomsday would be the logical fit for that at this time. There's a million other directions they could go that would seem more natural and more useful to the sequels. Why kill Superman so early unless it's to sell the movie?
Maybe that's just me, but it's how I feel.

That'd be equally cheep unfortunately. Using the villain known for a trademark moment, only to disregard that moment would be an even bigger ploy for ticket sales at the expense of the source material. There are dozens of other villains who could stand in for Doomsday at that point, if he doesn't kill Superman.

I have zero interest in Doomsday. Metallo would be great, but to me, having kryptonite seems pretty pointless now because there is no evidence leading to it's existence anywhere in MOS. Brainiac is my top choice.
