Villains who haven't appeared in a while or have not done anything of note recently

Legion's never really been a villain though. He's always been a gray area.

Hate Monger.

Where's Hitler been hanging out lately?

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Actually, this came up in one of the anthology stories in that giant sized 70th anniversary issue of CAPTAIN AMERICA, I think #616 or something. One of Zola's Hitler clones was out in the community and Rogers and Carter kept a loose tab on him. While realizing what he was, until he actually did anything illegal or harmful, Rogers determined it would be wrong and unethical to arrest or pummel him for his DNA. Alas, at least alone in his apartment, he turned out to at least be fascinated with Nazi stuff.

Well to be fair with the Hitler clone thing, if you knew you were a clone of someone, wouldn't you want to know everything about them? Monster or otherwise.

The guy didn't know he was a clone. I think he was a sleeper body for the Hate Monger to upload his consciousness into if he needed to. But apparently, Hitler's body errs toward Nazism even without his mind.

You can't keep old Hitler away from Nazism he loves it like a fat kid loves cake!

Madam Hydra, Stryfe, Mr. Sinister and Moses Magnum to name a few.

I think Madam Hydra (or Viper as I prefer to call her) was in Secret Warriors but I don't read that.

Stryfe was in Messiah War (2009?) but that was an alternate universe.

Mr. Sinister WAS Miss Sinister but thankfully they quickly undid that.

Moses Magnum was in Dark Wolverine as a plot device, he didn't do much.

Also, Magneto is leaving a huge void right now as a villain. The X-camp need to s**t or get off the pot with him lately.

The reason for Kang's status was the character is simply "off limits" and saved for Heinberg...then suddenly 10 years has passed.

-That part with Dr. Demonicus in the Hood gang was plain funny. He had some revolvers i think. What?

-I could go for many of the old West Coast Avengers villians. Master Pandemonium would be cool.

-Whatever happned to the Busiek cap character "Protocide"

She was actually pretty signifigant in Secret Warriors and there was an interesting twist with her character toward the later half. I'm curious what becomes of her in the final issue (if she shows up).

I don't know... Mr. Sinister's had a better run than many villains these days. He was prominant leading into and during Messiah Complex. Then he was Miss Sinister for two arcs and is in the process of coming out of that. So technically he's been in 3 or 4 multi-part stories over the past few years. That's pretty good.

But I am eager to see him get away from the Miss Sinister thing officially.

They should make Moses Magnum Luke Cage archenemy he needs one.

Age Of X repowered alot of X-Men like Chamber they need to do the same with some Mutant X-Villains or have some other villains get a power upgrade and step up to heavy hitter territory.

I wouldn't mind seeing Emplate again.

I thought Emplate was great for the one arc of X-Men Legacy he returned in. I hope to see him back soon. I typically get excited when anything linked to Generation X actually gets a push.

His an intresting villain because his still a bit mysterious not all of his backstory has been explained so there is room for writers to expand.

His also one of the few X-Villains I can think of who could take on a team of X-Men single handedly and plus Mutant Vampires are cool!

I would of rather seen the X-men take on Emplate and his victims which he can turn into Vampires than regular vampires like we saw in recent comics.

Would of been more intresting seeing Jubilee turned into one by Emplate.

He was a Jurgens creation and is gone and forgotten thankfully. He was last seen hitchhiking off into the sunset.
Speaking of Jurgens, we should get some more Dark Gods action in Thor. Perrikus and Majeston Zelia were awesome.

Yeah, I think I'd have prefered that myself. Plus, it would have been interesting because Jubilee and Emplate have history being that she was a member of Gen X and Emplate was their main villain. Then again, she'd have had the creepy teeth hands instead of fangs.

I'll give Jurgens credit, his Thor was great and highly underrated. His Cap on the other hand was very underwhelming. Kind of odd considering he was writing both at the same time and they didn't cross over at all....

The Spot.

Waiting for a writer to come along and give this guy his DUE. I mean, he can open portals ANYWHERE - He could slaughter every hero from the North Pole if he wanted!

Update his look, call him...I dunno, The Voidmaker or something and let the dude loose!

Check out the upcoming DD#1 then because The Spot's in it.

Really?! Nice!

I hope he gets some respect.

Honestly, why this guy is not the Marvel Universe's premier Assassin is beyond me.

Cuz he's a putz.

Somebody would have to kill him and steal his powers for it be believable that this putz would suddenly become a world class assassin, or use his powers in any way remotely smart.

Glad I didn't read his Cap run, then. I missed some of his Thor run too, actually. I have to get around to reading that sometime.

I loved seeing the Wrecking Crew in Omega Flight but other than that they have sucked recently. That and the U-Foes, I have always loved these guys and don't think they have ever been used to their potential.

crap was that Jurgens who did Protocide?

Yeah, he also jettisoned Sharon Carter for some lawyer, Connie Ferrari, as Cap's love interest. He went against the grain with a lot of what Mark Waid had put into place. He also put together some lame plot line with Connie's brother being an ex SHIELD turncoat.

The idea of a female Sinister isn't a bad idea inherently... But being a Female clone... While I know it's not, it just feels creepy like a tranny Mister Sinister.
