Vin Diesel Marvel Villian?

I think he could pull off Thanos. He has the physicality for it and the voice for it (well at least the Thanos voice i hear in my head)

Diesel could make a good Gladiator. The one from Daredevil.

I just can't get over his voice and speech pattern which up till now is the same in every movie, goonish. I can't take him seriously in any complex role seriously. He'd be a good Luca Brazzi if there was ever a Godfather remake ;)

He wants a character that is "unique"? When has Vin Diesel ever done anything that was unique? Most, if not all, of his roles are a carbon copy of the next role he does.

Looking at the article and some of the suggestions, Diesel might not be such a bad Tombstone

Diesel would be a heckuva Red Skull for my money. He doesn't sound refined, which is what the "goonish" comment seemed to refer to, but he doesn't sound unintelligent on any level. Kinda like Sabertooth in the comics. He's certainly not refined in any way, but he's smarter, more clever, and more intelligent than the vast majority of civilized men.

Diesel needs a character like that. Smart, but very hands on. Funny. Zemo comes to mind as well, though I'd imagine a different voice for him.

How about Master Man?

Vin doesn't come across to me like a mastermind villain at all. He's smart, just not genius. You need an actor to come across as a genius with a character like Red Skull.

Let's be real about it. The man can't act. He'd sully the name of just about any established character you link him to. Although I will admit...

That many years ago...

I used to think...

He'd be a good pick for...

To me it's great for Rhino or the Daredevil's Gladiator...

Also Red Skull!

Really dude Rhino? I need someone bigger besides he said villian big enough to headline. There are only a few and most are villian/antihero character ie. venom.

I always thought he should have been a really kick butt bullseye in daredevil but the miscast that whole damn movie.

I only like one of his movies, Pitch Black, but I do like the character Riddick.

The only villains I can see him play:
-Bullseye
-Kingpin, I hated MCD in DD
-My brother said he would have been a better Juggernaut, I got no complaint there bc Vinnie Jones blew.

-I don't like the Red Skull vote. I would prefer a better actor.

He's too big for Bullseye, AND HE CAN'T ACT!

He's too big for Red Skull, he's totally the wrong ethnicity for a white supremacist...and he can't act.

He's not incapable of acting he just does one thing, there's a difference. You just need to find a character that basically fits into that mold of his and he'd be able to do it.

Yeah, i cant see him pulling off a german accent...

Maybe one of the Red Skull's henchman? Crossbones maybe?

Actually, maybe he could be the Taskmaster, if he wants to do a movie with the villain as the main character...

I was just going to go with Taskmaster... He could really work well for that. His Riddick character has that vibe.

Marcvader - The Goonish comment is way off... He may play action charaters all the time, but he dosen't play a brutish thug or "goon" in any films. He also has done a few comedies and dramas to mix it up, rather than just action. He showed some range in Knockaround Guys and Boiler Room. He also showed some depth in Multi-facial. He is not ready to take on MacBeth but, Chris Wallace, I think that you are off with "he can't act."

Anyway... not Marvel, but he could be good for Lobo... but in Marvel, as a villian, Taskmaster or Crossbones seem like the best bet.

I can see Diesel playing Apocalypse.

He's got the look, the probably voice and the natural stiffness that Apocalypse seems to have.

Well I really was meaning his voice and speech patterns give me that impression especially if I close my eyes and listen to him.
