Viola Davis/Shonda Rhimes Team Up for 'How To Get Away With Murder'

I'm starting to think that [blackout]Bonnie, the blonde assistant attorney to Annalisse[/blackout], is the one who killed Sam. Just something about the interaction between the two makes me think there's something more there, and she killed him out of jealousy or something.

Or likely Rebecca too, lol.

Last nights ep. was good but I didn't really get the ending.

I'm well into this. Can't wait for more. Bennett from OITNB not involved in the flashbacks yet though. I actually thought he was going to be the dead guy at first.

I'm absolutely LOVING this show. It's just so damned intriguing and Viola Davis is f***ing mesmerizing. She needs to play Amanda Waller so bad I can feel it in my bones and stuff. There is literally NO other actress I can see in that role now.

Also, anyone else find Viola sexy as hell in this show? I've always found her attractive, but this character cranked it up to some new level.

I finally watched the first two espisodes and I'm kinda obsessed with it already :D I hope it stays that good!

I hope so too. And I hope EVERY client they defend is guilty (or guilty of something). I liked that in both cases so far, they weren't defending an innocent person.

I caught up on the first 3 eps tonight, Viola Davis is like a V12 driving this thing, her performance will no doubt see her vying for an Emmy next year. I also like the setting and the overarching plot, which is very intriguing and served well by the flashback structure.

I'm less sure about the students and her two sidekicks yet, none of them have really caught my interest or endeared me to them. As for the cases of the week, they have been ok but each has had the exact same formula were around the 30 minute mark the prosecution throws a curve ball and it cuts to a close-up of Analise looking shocked, only for her to rebound in the last 10 minutes with some devious work around.

Yeah I hope she doesnt keep saying "this is to show what you are made of" or whatever she says to her students every time they take a surprise hit in court.

I caught up with it yesterday and it's better and has more depth than you'd expect from such a simple premise.

I liked that in the latest episode she didn't win the case, it was different.

But I agree that so far Viola absolutely steals the show and some characters are going down. But I absolutely love the show.

Excited about this weeks episode, what are her 9 words?

I LOVE THIS SHOW! Definitely my new favorite show!

Hopefully it will last for 4 seasons!

And I say Yes for Viola Davis for getting an Emmy nomination!

Do you have any How to Get Away with Murder scoop? — Beth
On Thursday's episode, we'll learn all about Connor and "find out why he's such a player," executive producer Peter Nowalk tells us. "It's a lot more than just sleeping around." Might it have something to do with his hookup with Michaela's fiancé back in the day? Meanwhile, Marren Trudeau (guest star Elizabeth Perkins) is no average client-of-the-week. The high-profile businesswoman, who's accused of insider trading, has a "long history" with Annalise, and "there's a reason she takes the case," Nowalk says.

Heh, I don't know about jaw-dropping, but that last line certainly was unique! :funny:

I love this show and I'm loving Connor <3. He's so hot and interesting!

And I love that last scene! Viola removing her wig and make-up then asking her husband about the nude picture. So amazing <3 Best show of ABC right now!

"He did this thing to my a** that made my eyes water."

She's definitely on my list for that role

*raises hand*

Those curves!

Yeah, I was expecting something a little more shocking with the way ABC felt the need to pump that up in their promos.

This is a same network where every season they would say "A Housewife Bites the dust!" then it is some neighbor thats been on a couple of times.

I wonder how many eps before past and present converge.

Viola's deglam scene is so going to be her Emmy reel.

That was so creepy, it was like she was morphing into Sam Jackson! :wow:
