Adrian Tombes was a known criminal. He was in prison for some time. He has been in jail for a long time because he tried to rob the Osbourn mansion 20 years ago. He shot two of the butlers, and Norman himself. He was caught and put in prison. Now released, he wants revenge so he goes to rob it. He had no idea Norman was dead, and hhad no knowledge of Harry existing. He never even knew there was a spider-man. He realizes that it is now empty, being that the Osbournes are dead. It is locked up. So he has to plan it out well to get inside. He gets in and looks around. He finds the goblin lair. He does massive modifications in his little apartment. He makes the glider look like vulture wings. He takes a mask and cuts off the face. He changes it into a special helmet. Now he has everything he needs. After many robberies, the Newspaper calls him a vulture thief, which hew decides to call himself Vulture. He finds that stealing is hard because he is getting weaker. He remembers he saw a forumla at the masion and goes back. He drinks it, and becomes younger, and stronger. Now, he is the perfect vulture.

Well like I said in another thread, I don't think Adrain Tooms having a connection with the Green Goblin could work. I mean it's a good idea but I just don't see it happening. Adrain Toomes having a connection with Aunt May would be beter because it would have a great conflict between Spidey and the Vulture. not to mention that I would rather have Vulture old through the whole Film rather than becoming young. I think maybe Adrain Toomes could be fascinated on how planes fly and all through His life He studies them and decides to make wings to make Him fly. He could also be part in flight and repairing things on planes like another poster on this board said.

well, he wouldn't actually become "young". He would just lose most of his wrinkles and stuff, and become stronger. Maybe look 10, or 15 years younger.

It would be staying true to the classic Spidey Comics if Vulture is old though which is always a great thing IMO:up:.

It's a good idea for a spinoff, but seriously, I'd rather see another spider-man movie thank you very much.

I think if you're in prison, you might hear something about a guy who would probably have put over half of the guys in there in there.

okay, but this would be PART of a spidey film, duh.

Yeah, but I think that it would take up way too much time in a spider-man film. Especially if we want another villain in the movie as well.

maybe people just dont realize something yet; the vulture in a live action spider-man movie would be ******ED. can you honestly imagine watching a two and a half hour long movie about a old a** man in a F****** bird costume?! i cant believe poeple are actually getting hyped up about that idea. he may have been a good COMIC BOOk character, but for a movie no. think about it...

Lady: "o no spider-man theres that bird guy that steals stuff"

spider-man: "ill stop him"

spidser-man takes vultures social security, vulture looses; the end. gay.

or

spider-man pushes vulture, he falls, breaks hip, old man defeated; the end.gay.

What are you 14? Calm down.

First of if Vulture was indeed in a future movie, do you honestly think he would be the only villain in it?
Second, they would make him a real threat for the movie. You really think they are just gonna have some weak old man in green spandex get defeated in 2 mins?

ok, well you missed my point; vulture just is not a villian that could be translated onto the big screen. hes in a damn bird costume. i hated him in the comics and would hate him for the movies. if he was even in them the most time he should get is a quick flash of spidey thinking back on villians hes fought in between movies, just for the vulture fans. hes imo a villian that cant work for a movie, like rhino; can you honestly imagine watching a serious movie about some huge guy wanting to beat up spider-man in a rhino costume? theres such better villians they could use like the lizard and kraven and mysterio.

I completley disagree. The Vulture is a great challenge for Spidey! He almost killed Spidey in one of the Issues of ASM. He would work great on film.

Really? Well they were pretty damn close to using him instead of Venom for SM3. Like that idea or not, I would imagine they had a pretty good idea of how he was going to translate well on film(in terms of character and appearence). You act like if he were ever to appear on film(or any other villain for that matter), he would look and act exactly like he does in the comics.

I think there's validity to both claims... I like Vulture, and I think he could work very well in a movie if done right... but on the same token, doing him right would be significantly more difficult than doing Lizard or Scorpion right, for instance. It would take a lot of creativity and good directing to make the audience take the Vulture seriously.

VUlture would be good if they made certain variations to him. Such as...

he is not sooo old like in the comics. maybe he's in his late 50's to mid 60's

try not to have his costume look sooo much as a vulture

make sure he has no villain name like sandman, venom, NG, or Doc Ock
