WALK HARD trailer

I saw this twice over the break. At first I was a bit disappointed, but the second time I flat out loved it. It was really funny and at the same time it felt like a true rock story.

I also think the music was excellent. I bought the soundtrack.

Saw it. Didn't like it. Hardly laughed at all.

Of course, the first time I saw Anchorman I felt the same way, and countless viewings later it has jumped to one of my top two or 3 comedies of all time. And what's this about there being a 4 hour cut of Anchorman?! WHERE DO I GET IT?!

I saw it online. It was okay. Not worth spending money, but I'm glad I saw it once online. Some parts were funny.

Wow Rez the hits just keep on coming lol

Hopefully this turns into another Anchorman for you though

The 4 hour cut...the is a double pack of anchorman out that comes with another whole movie. if you can find it definatly pick it up no mater what it costs ya'.

A whole nother movie? You mean extended or just a story thrown together from deleted scenes? I MUST see that.

I saw Walk Hard, anyway, last week or two ago and it was hilarious. One of my favorite comedies this year. John C. Reily is a great actor, comedian and singer. Just every scene had me in stiches and it saddens me it does not do better at the box office. I'd put this in the top 5-10 comedies this year. Just really funny stuff.

It's called "Wake Up, Ron Burgundy". It's nowhere near as good as "Anchorman". In fact, it's borderline bad, if you can believe that.

Don't worry KB, I lied. I laughed whenever the black guy turned up to ward off drugs, and the Lets Duet song was magnificent. Enough to warrant me watching it again, and that's exactly how Anchorman started. WIth like one scene that I liked that suckered me into watching it again.

Anyway, I only saw Wake up Ron Burgandy once, and felt that it wasn't very funny.... Yeah, there's a pattern here. LoL.

That Ti mMedows bit about warding off drugs was one of the best bits of the whole movie (and an example of good use of repitition unlike the constant names in the cameo stuff. Sorry folks it was bad deal with it)

I now find myself walking around the house using it o nmy family.

Ken- "Get out of the kitchen mom. This is Count Chocula, you don't want none of this s**t!"

Its got the four anchors in a cannibal scene, Brick not knowing he's eating garbage, and more on Champ's love for Ron. There are also special features that are worth a look that disc as well.

I downloaded the soundtrack and it's honestly one of the best. These songs need to win some awards.

i finally got around to seeing this.... i loved it. the apatow gang can do no wrong in my opinion.

"dewey, i'm cut in half pretty bad."

:)

shame this did so poorly at the box office, it's a very entertaining and well put together film. Let's hope the DVD sales are strong

Just finished watching it. F***ing hysterical movie. Loved the beginning with Dewey and his brother, as well as the Beatles. Paul Rudd and Jack Black were great.

I just grabbed it on DVD, f#cking hilarious movie. WAAAAY under appreciated! easily one of the funniest comedies to come out in quite some time.

I'll have my Blu-Ray copy tomorrow afternoon

Sweet!

and no offense...

...but I don't know why anyone would want a comedy on Blu-Ray...that's always perplexed me...It's not like they have any visually stunning scenes...and as long as your DVD/Blu-Ray player upscales, the movie looks great on standard DVD on a large HDTV...

Edith: What about my dream?
Dewey: Edith I can't build you a candy house! The house will fall down, the sun will melt the candy!

LMAO...and that's just a sample of the true greatness of this movie.

how about when his wife catches him cheating and he tries to turn the argument around on her because she had done something wrong in the kitchen..hilarious.

very true, i've always thought the same thing.

unless the bluray has some special (like, really special) features that aren't on the regular ol' dvd, why spend an extra $10 on it?

there are some movies that just don't need to be seen in high def.

The Blu-Ray has some exclusive extra's you can download through Blue-Ray Live. Just because it's a comedy doesn't mean it's not worth the upgrade to HD. Everything will be clearer and more detailed and the colors will be brighter. Not to mention the sound will be stronger. I have Superbad on Blu-Ray as well and I wouldn't want it any other way. I will never buy a DVD again, regardless of the genre. It's Blu-Ray all the way now

IMO, Blu-ray's only good for the big action films like Die Hard or Transformers, movies that were meant to be seen on the big screen. I have no need to see every pore on John C. Reilly's face in HD. You would have been better off with the DVD and saved yourself ten bucks.

I bought the two-disc Blu-Ray set for $24.95 with free shipping so I wouldn't have saved $10. And again, I do feel the need to own every movie in HD, I haven't bought a DVD in months
