WandaVision WandaVision General Discussion Thread

WandaVision spinoff starring Randall Park's Jimmy Woo is about to be officially pitched to Marvel | GamesRadar+

I don't know about this. It sounds like a TV show from the era of Agents of SHIELD when we just had non super powered agents investigating things.

If Jimmy Woo gets a show I hope it's about his actual team from the comics, Agents of Atlas.

Jimmy showing up as a badass in this episode was great. He's getting respect in WandaVision that he wasn't shown in AM&TW (though I love that movie). It was also notable that he called out Hayward for trying to diminish Monica and Darcy.

Jimmy is an all-around great character who I hope has a future role in the MCU beyond serving as a light-weight comic foil.

I like Woo a lot in this and I've always liked Randall Park. Everyone else is getting a show so I don't see why Woo shouldn't get one. Although I think they would need some strong characters around him to balance out some of his goofiness. And I wonder if they would run into some of the problems AOS faced by turning Coulson into a lead instead of supporting character. Although a 6 ep show is different to a 22-24 ep per season.

An Agent of Atlas series is heavily rumored and KF said in Singapore two weeks ago, that there‘ll soon be South Asian superheros in the MCU

How many episodes do we have left now?

Three, apparently.

Episode 7: Streaming Feb. 19

Episode 8: Streaming Feb. 26

Episode 9: Streaming March 5
Thanks mate.

For some reason I had thought 2 and that didn’t feel enough. I think they can do a lot with 3.

Yes, I think there were 8 originally and they added one more episode but I might be misremembering.

I thought there were always 9 but there were rumours of a secret 10th episode recently.

Marvel Studios has become a juggernaut. Almost 13 years in and not a false step. Even the lesser movies are still somewhat good in their own way. They've never had a complete failure. Amazing.

Marvel plain don't miss they may not hit dead center bullseye all the time but they never miss hitting the target

More hits than misses that’s for sure

Some of the projects they’ve released do have their issues but the good outweighs the bad

Eh...

After all this time... I think they have closer to a 50% on "solid to great" and the remainder, true, not terrible misfires of epic proportions but... Pablum. Inoffensive but ultimately not at all memorable pablum and frankly this show so far for me is thoroughly on the pablum side.

my guess on how the final 3 episodes go...

7 - 2010's sitcom with wanda/vision dealing with monica coming back into the hex

8 - how it all started...we see it all from wanda's perspective. how she gets vision's body and how/why she sets up the hex

9 - the culmination which i hope includes some batsh t crazy fighting and equally nutty ending

Kevin Feige says that the last three episodes will be an hour long each. I think what he means is that while we have seen two-thirds of the episodes we have only seen half of the show. A lot more will happen in the next three episodes than happened in the first six.
