WandaVision WandaVision General Discussion Thread

Xmen Quicksilver was great. If he shows up it probably won't be a case of Wanda confusing him for her brother. It will be her trying to figure out who this guy is that is claiming to be quicksilver.
I'm just imagining Wanda going all Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood when he discovers that his "brother" isn't actually his brother and I'm all for it. Obviously not going as far as killing him but definitely seeing more angry Wanda.

The moment I entered Twitter today I was BATHED in SPOILERS :cmad::cmad::cmad:

I don't even follow comic book or superhero related accounts. :(

I thought the interesting part of the real world stuff from this episode was

Monica being examined and her initial body scan was blank and they wanted to run some more tests but she refused. Something is up there.
Possible results of getting snapped out by Thanos. We still don't really know the effects of returning.

I think it's a hint at her getting powers. What if the bubble around Westview is what creates mutants?

Super annoying, wasn’t it? No way to avoid. Right there in Twitter trends, and as soon as I saw it I knew what they were doing. Twitter and Disney need to sort it out. Get a block on anything for at least a couple of days.

I am more of the opinion that the snap created mutants because it would mess up the DNA of a select group of people and awaken the X-Gene in those people. Mutants may have been ordinary humans when the Avengers were out fighting each other.

Kevin Feige when Disney bought FOX: In the MCU the X-Men will be very from what we've seen.

Also Feige: Adds a character literally from the FOX X-Men franchise.

Lol

The way to avoid it would be to not get on any of the social medias before watching. It may suck for those that like to be on twitter and stuff but when a show releases at midnight or a little after it is expected. :/

I don't even access Twitter much but often these alerts I don't want just pop up on my phone. For some reason it also recommends tweets from politicians I don't want like Ted Cruz.

There seem to be a lot of untagged spoilers in this non spoiler thread which relate to specific episodes.

Indeed.

I told y'all we'd start handing out vacations next, and well, now we are. Post spoilers at your own peril!

Guys saw a 31 second video on YouTube with spoilery footage of episode 6 clicked on it thinking it was fake and got spoiled smh.

Yes I'm posting this in different threads

If Marvel goes back to the "sitcom within a show format" for a future Disney+ show, but with an all Black cast. Start in the 70's with Jeffersons/Good Time/Sanford and Son. Then go to the 80's and early 90's with Fresh Prince, Family Matters or Cosby Show. Mid-Late 90's to Early 2000's could be Martin/Living Single and then today with Black-Ish.

Thor: Love and Thunder possibly? I know Jane Foster will be a Thor. And she's a close friend of Jane so maybe she'll be in there as a side character of sorts.

We still have no proof this is Foxverse Quicksilver too. It could just as easily be MCU Quicksilver simply recast withinverse for some yet unforseen reason.

Im leaning towards this because Feige specifically said his X-Men would be different. I'm assuming he'll stick to his word. What we're seeing right now is trickery mark my words.

I think Darcy is better written in WandaVision than in the first two Thor movies. Not surprised that she's 34 because I first noticed her as a Teenager in the 40 Year Old Virgin, which was back in 2005. When she was first cast as Darcy I was like "wait a second, that's the teen daughter of Katherine Keener's Character from 40 Year Old Virgin."
