the reason i ask is if everyone is dead b/c when they flash to vision's corpse, it led me to believe wanda has the dead body and is controlling it.

these disney+ tv shows are fantastic. we got a great build up for monica rambeau and now we are all invested in her way more than if she was introduced in a movie. same for darcy and jimmy to an extent. now they can slot into movies with gravitas and not just some randoms.

I like that they are keeping Jimmy as an FBI agent as opposed to making him SWORD now. Makes the world feel more fleshed out.

I feel like this episode did a bit of heavy lifting moving the plot forward. I think they would have benefited by having parts of these episodes interspersed with the last couple of episodes and we would have had a better balance of mystery and plot. Plus a lot of it was just explaining things that were already obvious and gives the impression of moving the plot forward less than it did.

The most interesting part for me were the revelations about Monica, her mother and their relation to SWORD. I would like to see how her mother went from a fighter pilot to one of the founders of SWORD as well as a bit more of Monica's affiliation with it pre-snap. If they intend on her inheriting the role of Captain Marvel then she has the makings of a good backstory.

Nevertheless, the fact that Hemsworth is this jacked for L&T shows that his Lebowski days are most likely behind him.

You do realize he wore a body suit to look fat in Endgame? Not saying he won’t at some point look in physical shape during the movie, but in real life he’s maintained this physique even when he’s not making a movie.

I'm not completely set on the idea but maybe her (potentially) manipulating dead vision, he's her conscious and is asking the questions her fairytale side is trying to ignore...

But counterpoint, maybe he's not like that in her reality, and because Monica reminder her of reality when she mentioned ultron, Wanda just had a vision (sorry) of him as he was when he died....

So many juicy ways this can play!!!

Her mom, Maria. In this episode, her name on the wall said "Maria Photon Rambeau." I'm just wondering how she got her powers.

Photon was her callsign in the Airforce, just like Carol Danvers was known as Avenger. Maria has no powers. Its her daughter that gets powers .

Just another random note: I was really surprised that Kat Dennings get the "with" credits, which is only used for very important actors in th past.

You do realize he wore a body suit to look fat in Endgame? Not saying he won’t at some point look in physical shape during the movie, but in real life he’s maintained this physique even when he’s not making a movie.

Of course I know he wore a fat suit!

And obviously he stays in good shape in between movies, but as even you noted above, he looks even bigger than usual, which coupled with statements Taika has made which seem to imply that Fat Thor won't be in L&T, make me think that he probably won't be in Lebowski form in the movie.

I'm not that surprised. She was a series regular in a long running sitcom, is the lead in Dollface as well as being a character in two Thor movies, that's worth a "with".

There's going to be outrage coming from this: the German voiceover for Monica is voiced by a white actress and the German voiceover for Jimmy is voiced by a white actor.

No, there won't. There's not a surplus of multiethnic voice over actors in Europe. Or do you think the Finnish version of Soul had black people doing the Finnish language voice overs? Dez was the only one who had a black guy doing the voice over.
