You're kidding right?

Yeah, I'm kidding. Joker's name shouldn't be in the title. The movie's about Batman.

I want Batman Escalation for the title. That or Batman: The Killing Joke.

"Tell me more about my mother"????????

whats this star wars??????

I like Triumphant b/c of Frank Miller's DK Triumphant.

Batman: The Long Halloween is IMO the best title they could go with.

The title only works if they use the story with it.

And I really doubt that'll ever happen.

No, as long as they have a story based on it (like Year One in Begins) and as long as they include the Freaks taking over Gotham crime, I think the title could work quite well.

The thing is, the title would suggest that we are getting The Long Halloween as a story.

Besides that, The Long Halloween only works because it describes the years worth of murders that started and ended on a Halloween. If another Batman movie were to take the title, it would need to have a story with similar events. (Something needs to happen on Halloween, and something needs to end on Halloween.) Otherwise the title doesn't really work.

I personally like Batman 2. It's short, and to the point. But I'll agree with Norman on Batman: The Long Halloween. It would make a great title. Especially if a lot of the books elements are used in the film.

Is that Schumacher title for Batman 5 :down

No, the Schumacher title for Batman 5 would have been "Batman Comes out of the Closet."

Thats why I recommend having the story based of of TLH. I think if Batman Begins was called Batman: Year One few would of cared because the movie borrowed heavily from it.

I think the fact that freaks are overtaking the crime world of Gotham could justify the Long Halloween title - after all what does one do during Halloween? Dress up and become freakish. Gotham's Crime has dressed up. I can not do it justice but I can see how it would work.

The Bat villains become a permanent part of Gotham, so the title would have to be somethine like The Neverending Halloween.

Just because it sounds cool doesn't mean it's a good title.

Batman, I like the title Batman 2, too. The Long Halloween would also be great, but I don't think it'll really happen.

I don't really want titles from comic books and I think Nolan & Co should come up with a original title like they dd with first film. The Long Halloween is great story and it should stay with the book not for the film.

You're right, Two-Face. Like the story should stay original. Yes, with hints and elements from the comics but a new exciting story line, even comic book fans shouldn't really know how it could finish... know what I mean?

Yeah elemets from the comics as well, yep I agree Fabman.

BATMAN DEFIANT isn't the worst we could see.

I personally like:
BATMAN BEGINS
BATMAN RISES
BATMAN BECOMES

If it is a series taking place in his first three years as the Batman, he REALLY wouldn't fully BECOME the Batman we know (world's greatest detective, master of martial arts, etc) until that time.

Well the line "Tell me more about my father .." originated in Batman: The Animated Series. It was a great episode in my opinion.

Truth be told, Bruce Wayne (as seen in the comics) has often sought more information about the early life of his parents since their lives were cut short.

Batman Rises is pretty good....I like Batman Strikes, or Batman Escalation....Batman Becomes would confuse the general public

I think they should ditch the BATMAN *DOES SOMETHING* title shtick. There's only so much he can do...
