I almost never get into debates about religion, or the quality of the effects in the Fantastic Four movies, or abortion, or anything, in every day life with real face-to-face people.sorry, one last thing. do you interact with people face-to-face the same way you interact with people here? just curious.
I had a girlfriend at one time whose brother was a Mormon missionary, 100% sure that Mormonism is the one true religion, and she asked me to actually meet with him and hear his side and give him mine, and it went pretty much like a Christianity thread here goes.
The Intensive Outpatient Alcohol Addiction Treatment Program I attended this year....there was group therapy for 3 hours a day, three days a week, and then an hour and a half once a week...and it totally reminded me of being on the Hype, but in person, face-to-face.
Pretty much like me posting, but without the internet or the typing.
The way it comes down is, I have cultivated a personal life where I don't have to endure idiots.
When I have to at work, well, I'm being paid to fake-smile and bend over for them, so, that's my ****e-job.
And then, out in public, since I don't have to watch my words anymore, I do tend to take out my frustrations on anyone who
1. gets in my face
and
2. Is in the wrong.
This would include telemarketers, I RELISH swearing and treating them like the **** they are.......and I totally irrationally went off on this ***** that thought I stole a vitamin water last week.
heh
I'd say the answer is, yes, if the person deserves it and isn't wielding a knife. *shrug*
And then, I'm a sweetie pie with the people I love, the people I care about.
