Watch the "Wanted" 1st Theatrical Trailer and discuss

all these people who are saying it still looks like a great shoot em up, the trailer wasnt that bad. But maybe you dont understand as a comic book fan there are certain expectations and STORIES shouldnt be changed. especially if its the first movie of the gn, i mean its not like they changed the 3rd one that came out ITS THE FIRST ONE EVER SO FAR and its already warped, you take out the main elements of the story YOU DONT HAVE WANTED, sorry but how can you call yourself a TRUE fan when you settle for less?

quite possibly the worst Butchery of Source Material ever?

even worse than Catwoman?

I promise I WILL watch it until I'm a skeleton, even if I hate it. I will do it to spite you.

That's all fine and dandy...just remember, every time you watch it, that'll be 5 more little IQ points that you can never get back...and it sounds like you're only sitting at about 20...so be careful, eh?:oldrazz:

How...how did you know?? It's amazing! :wow:
Hahaha, you're funny :D

I knows me a troll when I smells one.

I dare day it: Yes. As a buthering of the source material, it is FAR WORSE. At least CINO admitted there WAS a Selina Kyle. That much is the only thing they kept...and it's still MORE than they've kept on "Wanted".

This film is the equivalent of watching a Spider-Man film where Peter Parker is portrayed by Ricky Martin and wears a poncho featuring the great, "El Negro Arana", or "The Black Spider" (my Spanish sucks), who walks around using his awesoem crochet-skills to weave baskets in a "web" pattern while defeating his foes in "8 Mile" style rap battles.

That is basically what this is.

...wow, I would totally pay to see that movie.

I think the Wayans Brothers are on the line wantign me to do a script treatment for them! Scary Movie 5...Scared Stupid. Coming in 2009!

The trailer looks pretty good to me, the actors in it are all good as well, I will check this out for sure, but as someone who has never read the comic should I before I see this film?

I think your best off reading the comics, watching The Matrix, and avoiding this movie.

Thanks bud, I will check out the comic this weekend.

Love "The Matrix", but I still think I will check out the movie, Jolie kicking a##, Freeman is always great, Mcavoy (I think that is how you spell it) is a good actor, but we will see after I read the comic, thanks for your input.

Well maybe once you read the comics you will understand why everyone is so disappointed with the trailer...lol.

So if you want to enjoy this movie, DON'T read the comic.

You guys now have me scared to death to read the comic :woot: , maybe I should not have asked if I should read the comic before watching the movie :cwink: :oldrazz:

Anyone see the Smallville episode about the crazed comic fan who wanted to kill an actress because the movie adaptation of his favorite comic had her live instead of dying? This thread is seriously starting to remind me of that.

haha. I don't think any of us are THAT angry about it. I can see some people doing that to Ben Affleck though.

LOL

Once again this movie sounds like it needs to go into that what if thread we had for CINO.

if you plan on seeing this movie with the intent to actually possibly enjoy it, and don't much care about what it is based on, then don't *ever* read the graphic novel.

if you are at all interested in the story of the graphic novel in any way, shape or form, and you have the idea that maybe you can learn something about it from the movie, then i highly advise you to STOP RIGHT THERE, just simply read the novel and tell the movie and its creators to go to hell.

that is all.

Where are the plants trying to hawk this movie as the best adaption ever like when Catwoman was out?

That was the best thread ever.
Shinlyle remember the days of the CINO forums and all the great fun that was had? All the crap from a1ant, and who else were the other two CINO trolls/spammers?
